Families pre-plan to ensure the fulfillment of their preferences and desires. They also want to pre-plan certain aspects of the funeral service to avoid immediate decisions.
He was the beloved father of Stephanie Brovenick of West Bloomfield, Michigan and Geoffrey Siegel (Patti Wood) of Toledo, Ohio; and cherished grandfather of Cooper and Carter Brovenick. He is also survived by cousin, David Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Eleanore (Joffa) Siegel.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
