After a career as a labor and delivery nurse, I left to focus on motherhood and the art of photography. I photographed my very first newborn in 1997 on a film camera, and I was hooked. I knew I had found my life's calling, and in 2012 I had the joy of capturing portraits for my first grandchild. I spent the next twenty years photographing newborns, both on-location and in my home.
Finally, when my last child entered high school in 2017, I gathered together twenty years' worth of newborn props and opened my first studio here in Hendersonville. My Main Street studio is a big hit with the families that trust me to capture one of a kind images of their newborns and babies. Services
To begin, we will plan a time for you to come tour the studio and sit down and talk with me. Finding the right maternity and newborn photography is similar to finding the right doctor. You are trusting me to handle this fragile, little life. You need to know I will hold them with all the love they need and pose them gently.
Whatever theme you choose, whether it be an elaborate set up, or simple decor with a focus on the baby, we will plan it together. We work to incorporate your props and decor with the items we already have on hand. We have several backdrops to choose from, and will find what works with your theme. We will plan for you to bring the baby during the time of day that he/she is the happiest, after a good nap, snack and wake up time.
Our Senior Session is designed to make you look and feel fabulous while we create images that answer these questions. You have been waiting for three years to become a senior, and finally, that day is here! As you move into this fast-paced, thrilling time of your life, this will be one of the most memorable years you will look back upon.
We never really own a photograph. We simply are caretakers for the next generation. We make sure you have something to enjoy now and to pass down the family line for many generations to come. The creative session fee covers your pre-consultation, portrait session, post-processing & presentation of your images, your personal view & order appointment, and product design.
The goal is to create an image that shows your personality, your life, and one in which you love how you look and are thrilled to share with the world. I have studied flattering poses for every body types, and it is my goal to see you smile with joy when you see your images. I have modeled my business to serve you!

Doing 2 time picture for passport, not US Passport
All picture were accepted, time picture shot is quick, and about 1h of waiting for editing and printing, Photographer respond usually to my requests very quickly in day of requests or next day, picture very good quality, but price is little bit big. #2 Pictures for passport, + digital if you want around: $155. - Studio located on second floor, sometimes door is looked, but will be open for scheduled day, (appointment).

I took my 3 year old daughter to Julie for an Easter Mini Session. What a wonderful experience! Right from the beginning Julie went out of her way to make my daughter feel comfortable with her and the picture taking process. I wasn't real sure how my daughter would do with having her pictures taken. But Julie went with the flow and pace of my 3 year old. She was so patient with her and of course the pictures turned out amazing! She captured my daughter's personality perfectly.

My wife, Jocelyn and I, hired Julie to take our pictures. They were the best photos we have ever taken of us in 34 years of marriage. We appreciated Julie's professionalism and assistance to us.
