An onsite crematory assures our families that their loved one will always be in our care and we have total control from beginning to the end. The entire Boyd family was kind and courteous in all the services provided to family members of Shirley Coley. The explanation of each portion of the burial process was clearly understood and appreciated. Marcella and the team at Boyd’s we’re compassionate, caring and gentle with me during my time of grief. While planning my Sister’s Homegoing Celebration Marcella and her team were thorough and helped plan and execute a COVID safe service that truly honored my Sister. The passing of a loved one is a very challenging experience. Marcella Boyd-Cox and her staff do a remarkable job of providing comfort and understanding. They are absolutely brilliant at making the sad and difficult ordeal of losing a loved one much less stressful. From the moment I walked through the door of their facility, I knew my dearly departed mother was in great hands. They are very, very good at what they do. Sincere thanks to the staff. Last year I entrusted my Mother's final arrangements to Ms. Lisa Taylor and E.F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home on Emery Road. My Mom Transitioned after a long illness and several months in the hospital. Her illness had really taken a toll. Lisa asked for a picture and I am pleased to say they did a great job. My Mom was beautiful and she looked like she was at rest peacefully asleep which was a great comfort to our family. Lisa and her staff were kind, gentle, caring and professional.
