Prior to choosing your new air conditioning and heating system lets find out how to properly size your new equipment. It's very simple: 1 ton capacity will serve 500 sq feet of living space in single level house. For a multi-level house, 1 ton will serve 400 sq (recommended). The reason why multi-level houses require larger capacity is because a system needs some extra power to push air upstairs or downstairs.
Here you can find some answers as well as technical advice for free. If you got some technical skills, I will likely be able to walk you through troubleshooting process of you broken Air Conditioning or Heating. Just start a new blog and ask your question. Use of Skype account on your mobile device will help or FaceTime on iPhones.
System maintenance is very important if you want to achieve highest efficiency and reliability. Every HVAC manufacturing company recommends to service Furnace once before heating season and Air Conditioner once before the summer. Proper maintenance performed in timely matter will help your system stay alive during hottest and coldest days of the year.

Eric is awesome. My AC issue has been intermittent where it will run for a few hours and then start blowing hot air. This means it's very hard to capture what's going wrong.
Someone came out to my house, said everything was fine (since the AC had just been turned on). I called Eric after business hours (9:30pm) and he picked up right away! I gave a report of what had changed, and Eric fit me in with a technician within two days. When the tech (plus Eric!) came out, the AC was again running fine, but they did another review and added more coolant. When I asked about if he thought there

I was referred to Solaris by First American Home Warranty. I have to say, FAHW is horrible, but Solaris was great. COVID caused a delay in supply but as soon as Solaris got the product they called to install. Ken and Andy were my technicians. They were positive, professional and went above and beyond to get the job done and done right! Thank you Ken and Andy!!! You guys were awesome.

Do not ever use this business! I would never recommend them to anyone no matter the situation. The most unprofessional company I have ever done business with. My air conditioner started leaking in July. My home warranty hired this company and the techs missed two appointments without notifying me. By August 22 the parts were ordered. I call everyday to check on the status. No info. Was scheduled for an appointment on the 10th of September. It was a no show. When I called they said they had no appointment for me. I called today September 11th. They tell me the earliest they can come is the 16th

Agree with all the reviews. I have been having AC issues for awhile now, and now I know why. Fidelity Home Warranty (clowns) sent these clowns to do work under my warranty. As it turns out, Solaris Installed the wrong part which has caused damage and failure of my system to operate correctly. The work also wasn't done to code and since I'm no AC expert and can't easily access my unit in the attic, it's easy for these guys to get away with this. I'll guarantee that they pull this stuff all the time. The many 1 star reviews here make lots of sense. I've asked them

Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this company.
Contacted my Home Warranty company about leaking AC unit at my house, paid the "service" fee and was told someone from Solaris will contact me within 24 hours.
2x24 hours later I get a call from them, we set up a time for technician to come and see why the unit is leaking. I was given a window of 3 hours (11AM - 2PM) I get a call at 1:58PM telling me they are on the way and will be another 15 mins.
They show up, tell me the hose is plugged, he said he cleared it out and for me to run the unit and if it is still leaking then the pan is probably

AC unit was malfunctioning. Called my home warranty who set me up with Solaris. Like other companies my home warranty uses Solaris has 1 star reviews. Got a call and spoke with Alexis the scheduling manager. Requested an afternoon appointment. He told me he wasn't allowed to schedule more than 2 days in advance but would add me to the schedule when it opened and call me back. He never called back. Called to see if I was on the schedule and he claimed I never called back which is untrue. Eventually offered me an appointment but said they can't come out after 10am- 1pm because it is too

Like many of these reviews, we had Solaris come out after filing a claim with our home warranty provider. We filed a claim on Monday, and received a call Wednesday morning that they were available to come out.
We were given a 3 hour window during which Aaron would arrive, and he called 30 minutes ahead of his actual arrival time to let me know he was on his way.
Aaron was extremely friendly, and explained everything he was doing and what was wrong with our unit. Our capacitor (the original on our 1991 A/C unit) had finally died, so Aaron replaced it, and had our A/C unit up and running again

BEWARE OF EXTRA CHARGES... They call them modification charges ...
I filed claim with Home Warranty First American Home Buyers Protection.
A office Manager called to set Appointment, Very Polite Gentleman named Aaron surveyed the situation. Home warranty covers replacement of Unti and Coil, but evidently not some modifications. One of the proposed Modifications is for a Pad under the AC Unit. The old Unit sat on concrete , as does the other unit for my house. As this are is where water drains through side yard and already have concrete City tells me I don't require a pad, Manufacturer

If I could give them a minus star I would. 2 years running my home warranty company sent them to fix our heating system. Both years they put a band aid on it. When they came out last week they did the same. It went out again 3 days later. When we called, they said they don't warranty their work, and told us we had to call the home warranty company back. I insisted on another company, and sure enough, we need a new heater!
Never let them in your house!

Do NOT use this company!!
First American Home Warranty uses them as a contractor for AC repair. My AC was not working, so I submitted a claim through First American. Technician came out (on time) and within 5 minutes assessed my unit had 0 freeon (documented). HOWEVER, the technician noted my unit was not working due to abnormal wear and tear. WHAT? The unit is 20 years old and doesn't have any freeon, yet ....
First American and Solaris obviously have a back end deal to keep their employees "servicing", but document fictitious circumstances to ensure claims are denied.
