Jeff Strausser originally opened Jeff's Automotive in 1976 on the corners of 25th Street and William Penn Highway. Shortly after opening, as clientele grew, Jeff's Automotive outgrew their initial location, and in 1978 moved to their current facility which is located at 4110 William Penn Highway in Easton, PA.
Since moving to the current location, Jeff's Automotive has over time expanded to a six service bay repair shop in order to keep up with and meet the expectations of our surrounding communities of Easton, PA, Bethlehem, PA, Nazareth, PA, areas. I scheduled for my automobile to have an oil and filter change. That's it! Nothing else. So, I get a call and they tell me my car is ready but... The windshield wiper blade is streaking and cost $20.00 and we see your emissions expires the end of this month and would you like to take care of this now. If I wanted all those things done I would have requested they be done when. I submitted to getting an oil and filter change.

It was the quickest service I have ever had...inspection, oil change, tire rotation and 2 rear shock absorbers,all in an hour and a half. Professional front desk personnel and service. Very happy with Jeffs...will be going there for future vehicle needs! Highly recommended for vehicle service and repairs.

My visit to Jeff’s wasn’t pleasant I had a third-party warranty which we thought was under warranty and found out that it wasn’t covered mechanic shop wanted crazy dollars to have it fixed did not want to budge he was firm with his price he was over 500 and I got the same job done at fire stone for 280

Stopped by this shop to get an estimate to replace hoses and gaskets (arguably straightforward tasks); the gentlemen told me he'd have to remove the engine. Without looking at my lifted jeep cherokee he guessed the work would take 25 hours and cost upwards of $5000.
The entire engine can be replaced for that amount!
I will surely not be doing business here.

Jeff's worked on my AC. They installed a new blower motor and resistor. They were very honest about the work they were going to perform and my car was ready in a timely manner. They were very courteous and informative. I would definitely recommend them.

I had Jeffs replace an Engine on a 2014 Odyssey. I thought they did a great job. My only complaint would be what they charged for some of the seals and gaskets. They charged 4-5 times more then what the local auto parts sells them for. I expect a 20-30% markup. They stayed within the quoted labor amount. John the guy who calls to follow up to see about your experience is great. It’s nice to see that customer satisfaction is important.

I've been very happy with the help I've gotten through Jeff's Automotive. They're very professional, courteous, and upfront about costs and repairs. Their assessments are helpful and they're honest and not pressuring with their recommendations. I recently got my Chrysler 200 transmission serviced and their garage and notice a great difference in how my car is driving. Would absolutely recommend this garage to friends and family.

I have had 3 cars repaired at Jeff's so far. 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 1998 Honda CRV and 2008 Nissan Rogue. Each vehicle had various issues from oil changes, brake work, A/C repair, ball joints, fluid replacements to annual State inspections. The price for repair is very compettative and the quality of workmanship is second to none! You can drop your car off in advance if you like so you don't need to scramble to arrive for service that day. They advise you in advance of any work expense in advance so you can make an informed customer decision on repairs

The staff is always very friendly and professional. Nobody likes to spend money on auto repairs, me included. But when its needed you need to feel the repairs are done right. My repairs kept my car overnight and a loaner was provided. I hope I dont need their services often but when I do, they'll get my business.

I have winter tires put on my car. I made an appointment for today. They didn't have it. Let my car there this morning. They'll squeeze me in. No they aren't I MADE AN APPOINTMENT I DONT JUST SHOW UP OUT OF THE CLEAR BLUE. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT So my car will be there until 5:30. JUST GREAT. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY DIDNT HAVE IT IN THEIR COMPUTER. When I make appointments I always repeat the day,date and time. So now the day before a holiday I have no car until 5:30. Let me see very unhappy

I had a rear shock replaced last year for $400. ONE shock. on ONE side of the car. I drove for another year and (surprise) the other went. I was quoted another "ballpark" $400+ for ONE. I called around, ask friends for recommendations and found out the CORRECT ballpark is $250-ish for TWO to be replaced. Because, according to everyone else, no self-respecting mechanic would replace only one side. I went elsewhere and had both done - $248, parts and labor!
Looking back on all my dealings here, I was totally taken advantage of. The kicker? My headlight that they fixed is now shining

This automotive shop saved our lives or at the very minimum, saved a very important weekend for us. We had spent Thursday night in Bethlehem, PA and the next morning we were traveling to Montauk, New York for a wedding on Saturday. However, we needed to be there on Friday for various activities. After we left our hotel, we had been traveling for about 10 minutes when the warning light came on indicating one of our tires was low on air. We took our car here a few times and every time they come up with about $800 worth of things that need to be repaired. This time they told me the drive belt was so terribly worn beyond the point of when it should have been replaced and that the transmission fluid was really dirty and needed to be changed. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and they said the drive belt looks perfectly fine and the transmission fluid is not supposed to be changed because it is a closed system... so Jeff's flat out lied to us. Every time I take my 2013 car here for routine maintenance I end up spending $700-800. I drive a lot so I need frequent oil changes. They recently told me I needed some expensive maintenance so I thought I'd get a second opinion. I ended up going to a Mazda dealership and they fixed it for a fraction of what Jeff's quoted me.

They highly overcharged for a simple check engine light. I wanted them to diagnose the problem. They acomplishsd this without issue. However, all they did was hook a computer up to the car and conduct a visual inspection to the rest of it. They tested for leaks as well. If they were working hard it should have been accomplished and probably was accomplished within half an hour to 45 minutes. Yet, they charged me for two hours. They listed off a bunch of problems and recommendations on what I could do to help improve my car for every nook and cranny that needs fixed from looking at it in order to

Worst place in Lehigh Valley to bring your car for repair or inspection... unless you like paying inflated prices for unnecessary repairs. It's places like this which gives automotive repair businesses a bad name. I gave them one star as a rating because that's the lowest choice, but Jeff's actually should get zero stars.

Replaced my bad battery last year. Started having troubles last week and took it to another shop and the battery was bad. Come to find out the battery Jeff's put in was dated 2005.
Was also quoted $900 to fix an issue so the car would pass inspection. I took it to another shop and the car was fixed and inspected for just over $100.
I will NEVER go back to Jeff's, not even for an oil change. They will try to squeeze every penny out of you for work that is not needed.

My headlight went out while my husband was in Chicago for business, so I looked up a nearby Mechanic. Headed over to Jeff's with my almost two year old and they got my car in right away. They were very polite, timely, professional, and sweet to my daughter and me during our short time there. For a mechanic's waiting room- it's the cleanest, warmest (rainy, cold day), and most non-odiferous I've visited yet. They were very honest and priced fairly. If I need anything else done that my husband can't do- I'm definitely going back to Jeff's.
