A Family Tradition: Laura Brooks Cantrell comes from a well respected real estate family. Her father served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force before starting his business in real estate. His strong emphasis on the first core value of the Air Force (Integrity First) inspired Laura to join the family firm in 1985.
With Mr. Brook's second retirement in 2000 - Laura was the natural choice to take over the family business. If I could give zero stars I would. Laura and her team have been very disappointing to work with--when my uncle died last year, they continued charging him rent for months and upon realizing it they have refused to refund the money and even the security deposit. We cleaned out the space beautifully, immediately, even while mourning and grieving. Laura has been inhumane and heartbreaking to deal with during this experience. If you happen to be mortal, I do not recommend working with Laura or her team.

My father passed away last August and had been a solid tenant with Cantrell for the last few years. After his death Laura continued to charge him “rent” (I put in quotations because not all were the same amount as his rent and many were more) adding up to almost 10,000 dollars that she has not yet clarified or refunded. Highly disappointing and frankly gross.

My father was leasing through Cantrell, he passed away last fall. We had his business space cleaned out within a week. We gave back the keys and were told everything was good, that was that, and we would be getting the security deposit. Fast forward a few months to find out that they were still charging his account. Then we only gave back half of the security deposit. They charged different amounts and won't get back to us explaining why that is. They just said it was the clients choice to continue charging his account.

You will quickly see how professional and thorough this company is for you. Ms. Cantrell served us for many years as a property manager of two large apartment complexes. After using two other inferior services, what a relief to find Laura! Wow, we were literally robbed by the pervious two property management services. Laura runs an office with integrity, backbone, and unlimited expertise. She goes above and beyond to make property management a breeze for the owners. She is reliable and courteous. You will not regret putting your property in her hands.
