Dabel Family Dentistry is a family friendly and family run dental practice. Our goal is to provide comprehensive dental care to every member of your household from young children all the way to your golden years. We purchased the office in 2013 from Dr. Ted Sako, a well known and well liked dentist who served the Groves area for over 25 years. Dr. Dabel moved to the area when he was eight years old and has called the Golden Triangle home ever since. He graduated from Nederland High School in 2001.
Services
An anti-anxiety service offered. This is an option for a patient receiving any other of our services who feels they are too nervous to have dental work performed. The effects are short term and patients can drive themselves to and from appointments if no other anti-anxiety treatment is used with the nitrous.
Root canal therapy helps save teeth by removing diseased or dead nerves inside the tooth. Typically, a root canal is a simple procedure with little or no discomfort. Inside each tooth is a nerve, also called the pulp, which provides nutrients and feeling to the tooth. When the nerve is diseased or injured, the tissue around the nerve dies.
Full or partial dentures give people who have lost all or some of their teeth the ability to eat, speak and smile. The full denture replaces all of the patient's natural teeth and provides support for the cheeks and lips. Without the support of teeth, facial muscles may begin to sag. The partial denture simply replaces missing teeth so the remaining teeth do not move or become crooked.
An alternative to a partial denture or bridge is a dental implant. A dental implant is either used to replace a single tooth or restore an entire smile and provide a more permanent solution. Dental implants are a good alternative for people who have generally good oral health and have lost their teeth due to an accident or being born without certain permanent teeth.
A bridge, also called a fixed partial denture, is a restoration that replaces or closes the space where one or more teeth have been removed or are missing. A bridge helps maintain the shape of your face, as well as alleviate the stress in your bite by replacing the missing teeth. Bridges can be made in multiple ways from various materials ranging from all porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or a full metal bridges.

I've been looking for an office like this for a long time. I've worked in the dental field for some time and I know when the office is well maintained and are not out for profit profit profit. I understand people have to make a living, but you know when the money is all that matters then the office staff to the patient's are expendable and not cared for properly. Not not this office! The hygienist was awesome and cleaned my teeth very thoroughly, the dentist was friendly and professional and only recommended what I needed and did not try to push any cosmetic or unnecessary work on me. I am a new patient here, but had a great first experience! They were able to get me in next day for a dental cleaning. I was able to access new patient docs online & fill them out prior, which I love! Parking was easy and the building is well marked & easy to spot! I didn't wait long once I arrived. The staff were all friendly & Lindy did a fantastic job on my cleaning. I hope to become a regular dental hygiene patient here!
