The Pines Day School has been serving young children from Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas since 1990. We are a developmental preschool that provides a meaningful approach to learning. Children are encouraged to discover, experiment and problem solve through carefully planned learning centers, cooperative group times and individual artistic enrichments.

Services
Our goal at the Pines Day School is to provide all children ages 3-5 the opportunity to learn both social skills and pre-academic skills in a fun and nurturing environment while enhancing positive self esteem and encouraging responsible behavior. We recognize that each child is unique and comes to preschool with various degrees of experiences and knowledge, thus success cannot be predetermined without first getting to know each child.
Traditional yet creative letter and number experiences and activities provide the foundation for the introduction and refinement of the prekindergarten skills. Monthly theme based units in conjunction with the formative preacademic skills provide a well rounded approach to learning about the world around us and how we (the smallest and youngest) are part of the bigger picture.
