Services
Prevention and early detection are the key to avoiding tooth decay and gum disease. A good home regimen, in addition to regular cleanings and exams, can prevent many expensive dental treatments. Prevention starts with controlling plaque, a colorless bacteria that sticks to the surface of your teeth, and calculus, a harder mineral deposit.
Enhancing the smile's aesthetic appearance can lead to increased self-confidence, improved social skills, and even a more positive outlook on life. Modern cosmetic dentistry merges advanced technology with fine art, and can often produce amazing results in less time than you would expect. Customized trays are filled with a whitening gel and worn in the mouth for as little as 1 hour per day.
Almost everyone will experience tooth decay at some point in his or her life. Swift detection and correction of tooth decay can minimize the significant expenses and inconveniences associated with more serious problems caused by tooth decay. Restorative dentistry treats all phases of tooth decay, from simple cavity fillings to entire tooth replacements.
Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. Dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels very natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and serve as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges or a denture.
Wisdom teeth are the molars that are farthest back in the mouth. These teeth are the last to grow into the mouth, usually after age 18. Wisdom teeth often become impacted - they do not grow in properly. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause a myriad of problems, including gum disease, infection, decay, even tumors.

My experiences were negative. Staff is very good, but the doctor kept "bullying" me to get a mouthful of new caps and bridges. I went to another dentist, and was told the existing teeth may not even be able to hold new caps and bridges. So thankful I changed dentists, as Thompson is only concerned with making teeth in his 3d printer and nothing else as far as I can see.

I absolutely HATE going to the dentist. Just had an appointment here this morning and it was wonderful. Heidi did my cleaning. She was so nice and understanding. She really made me feel at ease. Dr. Thompson was very kind and gentle. If you have a fear of going to the dentist...this is the place for you! I had such a good experience, that I already scheduled my next 6 month cleaning and exam!!

Let me start off by saying I used to HATE going to the dentist. A few years back, a friend recommended Thompson Family Dentistry. What a blessing!!! Dr. Thompson is friendly and thorough. Lisa makes the visit such a pleasure. She’s friendly and caring. She probably has no idea how she has touched me. On bad days, she has lifted me. It’s just amazing that I can walk out of a dentist appointment and feel like I got a free therapy session! I look forward to my next appointment.

I usually don't do this but I absolutely had to rave about this place. My son has been a patient there for years but I just started. I used to have a fear of all things dental. Lots of bad experiences. This place took such good care of me. I had two back teeth pulled yesterday, they were not easy extractions. I was so surprised by how little pain I experienced considering I have always hated having teeth pulled. This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Even during the procedure and barely a day out I feel great with very little pain, just a little sore. Didn't even need
