The founding partners formerly managed the Lehigh Valley office of a major international law firm. Other partners and lawyers who have since joined the firm have come to Davison & McCarthy from other well-respected Lehigh Valley firms.

Our ranks include a former Pennsylvania trial court judge with a judicial career spanning nearly 20 years, an attorney with over 50 years experience, a county commissioner, board members of prominent philanthropic organizations, published writers and former judicial law clerks.

Davison & McCarthy's representation of clients typically begins with a meeting or a telephone conference between the clients and the attorney (or in some instances, attorneys) who will be handling the matter on the client's behalf. For certain matters, clients may be eligible for a no fee initial consultation.

Generally, the firm charges professional fees on an hourly basis, However, the firm will enter into alternate fee arrangements when that makes sense for both you and the firm. For example, the firm will enter into contingency fee arrangements for certain personal injury and collection claims. The firm will also enter into flat fee arrangements in instances where the scope of work and the fees are reasonably predictable.

The attorneys at Davison & McCarthy have extensive experience in serving as arbitrators and mediators as well as advocating on behalf of our clients in various forms of alternative dispute resolution settings.

In consultation with our clients' accountants, we assist clients in identifying the form of business entity that best suits their business model, whether that is a sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company, limited liability partnership or corporation.
