Dr. Chester provides gentle chiropractic care for patients of all ages, including children, in a comfortable setting with individual attention to every patient. After nine years in a group practice I have come back to my roots in solo practice. I feel that I am now "home" and am excited to explore new methods of chiropractic and holistic therapies.
I received my Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the New York Chiropractic College in 1996. Chiropractic medicine begins with finding the underlying cause of a problem, and so in 2012 I finished advanced training in diagnosis and internal disorders, earning DABCI (Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists) certification from the American Chiropractic Association.

Chester is a skilled and compassionate person. My son and I have complicated connective tissue disorders that require several adjustments per week. I trust her with our care and give her the highest possible recommendation. The objective of chiropractic treatment is to correct nerve interference caused by bony misalignment in a safe and effective manner without using the aid of drugs or surgery.
Chiropractic care is a holistic and natural approach to treating health by focusing on the connection between the spine and nervous system. The spinal column protects and carries nerves from the brain to every part of the body. The spinal column is made up of individual bones called vertebrae, and these bones can get misaligned, pinch nerves and interfere with nerve functions.
I love flipflops as much as the next person, but they are right up there with those beautiful high heels in causing toe, foot, ankle, knee, hip & back problems. Your feet are your foundation and. If you come to me for a recent short-term injury (acute) you would probably only need a short term of therapy.
In 1998, the University of Naples, Italy studied 70 to 100-year-olds and found that those who lived the longest and were the healthiest ate a lot more fruit and vegetables. Men and women whose diets are high in fruits and vegetables were shown to have lower rates of angina, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, cirrhosis, gallstones, heart attack, kidney stones and peptic ulcers.
Almost everyone has some back pain, backache, or sciatica at some point in their lives. When I see patients I almost always suggest specific stretches and exercises, but meanwhile here are a few basic stretches to alleviate low back pain. Remember to take it slow and easy and don't overstretch. Pain = NO gain!
