I've always been an energetic, spunky girl constantly craving change and excitement. I thrive off of meeting new people and this job has given me an opportunity to be adventurous and fun. Photography allows me to be creative, stay in the moment, and improvise which is exciting and refreshing! I love to travel, drink beer, hike, and there's nothing like warm spring day to cheer me up.
My husband and I live in Monterey with our toddler, dog, cat, and our four chickens. Although photography is a personal preference for everyone, my number one goal is to capture intimate, joyful, and beautiful moments. I feel as though my work takes a more unique approach than other photographers. To me, this is not just a job + a camera.

My fiancé hired Molly to shoot our proposal. :) Molly was nothing but professional, fun, and put up with about 12 of us being involved in this event. I would absolutely hire her again just based on personality alone, BUT the photos she delivered to us were amazing!! 10/10 would recommend. Thanks again Molly! :) You captured this moment in a way we will never forget.

Molly Hansen is an integral part of my family at this point. I first found her in 2016 while planning my wedding. She documented true to life emotions and captured our joyous feelings through film. When we got pregnant a few years later I knew Molly was the one I wanted to contact for maternity & newborn photos. She has such a calm and grace about her that puts you at ease to show your true self while she takes your photos. When our son turned a year I knew I needed Molly to take our pictures again. We will be contacting Molly again every year for our family portraits as well as any other exciting

I found Molly on IG and loved how the captures the moment. She was our wedding photographer and did not disappoint! Our package included an engagement session and she was great. Molly is very personable and made the photo shoot comfortable and fun. Our two toddlers responded very well to her and we now have beautiful pictures of them!

Molly is the best! We worked with Molly for both our engagement and destination wedding photos and it was overall an amazing and comfortable experience! She was highly responsive when our plans changed from a local location to a destination wedding and went above and beyond for recommendations for how to prepare for our sessions.
