It is literally shocking how bad this place is. By no means at all should you ever even consider staying here. The rooms are extremely run down and outdated, with mismatched furniture and random amenities for every room. You have to climb into the shower in order to turn on the water which leaves you having to deal with the freezing cold water. Additionally there are cracks in the walls and rust everywhere. Additionally there is no toilet paper holder or towel holders, so there is no room for toiletries and everything must be placed on the counter. There was also writing on our mirror that was

They have severe plumbing issues on the fourth floor, obvious water issues & leaking coming from the fifth floor that's leaking down onto the fourth floor ceiling.
The toilet did not want to flush, the bathtub filled up with water before ever being used.
The second room they put me in didn't even have a phone for me to call the front desk if need be.
They painted over the electrical box on the wall and the thermostat is extremely outdated.
Room service attempted to open my door the second morning I was there before giving me a second to holler I didn't need them.

Beautiful beach wish the pool was open later. If guests get loud then kick them out but guests who behave and want a moonlit dip in the pool. Its a shame to deny them of that.

We love staying here! Rooms are quiet and peaceful however you are on the beach with 2 options for dining (Bamboo Beach Tiki bar between the pool and the ocean, and Casa Calabria a upscale southern Italian eatery with a piano bar. The Italian chef comes out to greet patrons.) They also have a gift shop, breakfast bar, spa, and beach cabanas. With these amenities there is no reason to leave the hotel and beach.

READ THIS: If you are thinking of booking at this resort MAKE SURE you book through a private condo booking like Air bnb or vrbo. The privately owned condos have much better upkeep. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THE COMPANY WEBSITE. Rooms are damaged and severely lacking upkeep.
We approached the front desk with some issues we are having with our stay and they immediately got defensive and acted like we were in the wrong. They say we were the only ones that have complained, which obviously holds untrue. Just reference all the other poor reviews. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the this hotel

Wow it's so much I can say ! People were very friendly and nice ! The property was very unwell kept. I couldn't even sleep thinking the building was going to collapse. To turn the air on I had to keep the thermostat on heat (lol) the door was rusted and barely closed ya horrible smell in the bathroom. The counter was broken. Cracks in the floor ... I could keep going. Lord please keep these people safe

I am a local but came here for a mini-high school reunion and decided to book a room. The location is great; right on Fort Lauderdale Beach and the resort looks pretty nice from the road. There is valet parking for $10 for hotel guests and $5 for guests. Our group was promised a "special rate" of $180 for city view rooms and $200 for ocean view rooms. Plus there is a resort fee of $15 per day. I booked a city view room and it was clean, but dated. The 2 queen sized beds were comfy and we had a small fridge in our room; but the bathroom was in definite need of a remodeling, (towel

I will never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. This place has very obvious foundation issues and with the recent Miami condo collapse, I didn't feel safe staying here. We were on the 10th floor - felt like you were going to fall off the balcony because it slanted down so much.

The front desk called the second day we were here and told my husband that maintenance needed to come up to seal a crack in the tile. Didn't state where and the entire room is tile. So we cleaned up everything and waited - no one ever showed.

A couple days later as my husband was walking up to our

This place is a complete DUMP. The rooms are outdated and DIRTY. We had bugs and hair all over our room and bedding. The curtains looked like a mountain lion just attacked them. The service was slow and some staff were extremely rude. It was fitting to see our server hitting her weed pen during her shift.
The Casa restaurant smelled like cat urine. The cabanas were a joke. Do not be fooled by the pictures on line. This place should be shut down.
The path to the bathrooms under the building are frightening and should be condemned. This place is a complete joke. As for the owner, Frank, get

Some aspects of this place are a 5, others a 1. I think a lot of it has to do with your expectations, and where you've been or what kind of hotels you're used to staying at. It's not the Ritz, but it's not all a dump either.

As for location on the beach, it was great. You really can't beat those ocean views and swaying palms. The pool was good, but unfortunately we had a lot of cloudy days while we were there. Luckily we had one full sunny day, our first one there. On day two it was sunny all morning but the pool was being cleaned till about 1:30 or 2, just in time for

To be blunt. This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. I know why this was only $98 per night. I got the Trip Advisor plus deal.
We checked in for our Florida vacation. The front desk clerk informed me that there was an $80 resort fee. Mind you, I was under the impression that everything was pre-paid.
He told me that this resort fee was indicated in my email from the hotel.
I was not happy since I thought I paid for everything ahead of time.
As soon as we arrived at our room, I was surprised at the outdated push button keypad on our hotel room door lock.
I venture to guess that

Superb value and service. HIGHLY recommended for singles, family and couples!

For the value, the service and quality are superb! Perfect breakfast buffet. Great pool and poolside bar (pricey but liquor store is a hop, skip and jump away). Pool and beachside food and drink service. Gracious staff. Beautiful balcony view. Starbucks a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Beach a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel snobs, like I can be at times, need not visit. Again, great value. I am my 2 besties were happy campers!

The only reason why I am giving this hotel 2 stars is for the wonderful view & the proximity to the beach.
The room was old and outdated, and not very clean. The shower was horrendous!! It barely had any water pressure at all.
Housekeeping only comes to the rooms twice a week, which is not great when you are staying a whole week.

Thanks for my great stay!

Pros -

- Every employee- from the waitstaff, to security, to the front desk, even the delta 0 crew- went above and beyond to accommodate the captain and his crew. SALUTE

- Coconut shrimp are fire. Ate one coconut shrimp and infinity cocktails during my 4-day stay. The combination provided enough sustenance to shine bright in the face of several attempted mutinies. Haters gonna hate.

- Golden Hour was a revelation.

Cons-

- The compound has limitless potential, but also is in a constant state of "under construction".. gotta come back next week when the blue granite is installed

I must've been the luckiest person on the planet because I had an AMAZING experience at this hotel. First of all, valet parking is very cheap for about $10 a day. We stayed for Labor Day weekend so you know it was extra packed. We were checked in extremely quickly and upgraded for free to an ocean view room. Unfortunately the room was extremely hot and one of our friends couldn't handle it so we went to the front desk and they immediately gave us another room. It is pretty outdated as people are stating but you get a decent size room with a balcony and if you stay a weekend you pay less
