I am a full-time mom of two little ones and a full-time wedding and family photographer located in Orange County, California. I am a small-town girl originally from Northern California (the Central Valley to be exact). I began photographing the world around me at age 16 and went on to study film photography and darkroom processing at my local Community College.
Life is a crazy adventure and once you add little ones in the mix, it is an even wilder ride! But, that shouldn't stop you from capturing the moments before they change forever. My clients will tell you that I treat them like family throughout the process from booking, to choosing your outfits for the session, and beyond.

Hiring a photographer for such an important event was very stressful. Amy took the anxiety out of the equation and helped my fiancee and I feel relaxed, both with our decision and in front of the camera. She is incredibly friendly, silly, responsive, and professional all at the same time. Amy's eye for detail is amazing and the photos came out better than I ever could have hoped. Our family absolutely loved working with Amy!! Amy took our Christmas photos. She is incredibly talented, kind and patient with 3 kids all under the age of 8. She was a natural gaining their attention and bringing out all of their smiles.

Amy from Amy Captures Love was our photographer for engagement shoot and wedding. My wife and I both loved Amy's bright and natural style. Amy is professional and very experienced. During our engagement shoot she made us both feel comfortable and was able to clearly guide us through the different poses and photographs. Amy was a pleasure to work with and was very detailed for our wedding. She helped us to create a photography plan including family photos, bridal party and bride and groom photos. Amy is wonderful, kind, patient, and professional. I have a daughter on the autism spectrum and it's wonderful to have a photographer who doesn't mind some wiggles. I have so few photos of her looking at a camera, but somehow Amy gets them every time!
She has captured my little ones from infancy, toddlerhood, through preschool and my children's true smiles and selves over the years. I couldn't say enough amazing things about Amy! I've been working with her for nearly 3 years now starting when i was pregnant with my son. I have used her to document behind the camera ALL of my most important life events. Twice a maternity shoot, hospital shoot, several family shoots (first and second birthday, and now engagement/baby announcement shoots. I've worked with several photographers in the past but always trust Amy to capture the moment perfectly. Just finished up our shoot today and SO excited to see the results, as always :)

My family recently did a mini shoot with Amy in November. Typically, with family photo shoots, since we have two young boys who don't ever stand still, I'm ecstatic if there are five decent pics to choose from for our holiday card. With our photo shoot with Amy, I would say there are a solid fifteen pictures I'm planning to print~! I was truly surprised at how many great shots she got, especially considering how painless and easy the whole shoot was. I highly recommend her!

We had Amy photograph some of our families earlier this spring and last week she came back to shoot our Leadership team head shots that included a professional head shot and personality shot.
Amy was fantastic!! She eased anyone who was nervous and gave enough direction to make it easy and fun for our staff. We received the edited photos quicker than we imagined and everyone looks great! We cannot say enough nice things about Amy.

I knew I wanted a professional to capture photos of my first baby while in the hospital. I searched for Birth Photography first, then I discovered the concept of the "Fresh 48" session! Photographers need to be flexible of course, because we never know exactly when baby will arrive :) I am thankful I found Amy as my birth didn't exactly go as planned and I had to keep changing our photo session date. Amy communicated well with me and we were able to squeeze in our Fresh 48 session the morning baby and I were sent home. Prior to meeting her she was always responsive in emails

Amy is an amazing photographer! I cannot recommend her enough. She did cake smash photos for my daughter, and they came out absolutely perfect. She is good at capturing attention of the kiddos too, which isn't easy! I also did boudoir photo session with her. Amy is so friendly and easy to work with, she makes the session fun. I felt so comfortable with her the entire time. If you choose Amy for your photo session, whether it's family photos, boudoir, or special event, I know you will be happy!
