Bartlett Engineering
Bartlett Engineering is a professional engineering firm that specializes in Static Mixers custom process equipment per ASME Code Div. 1 & Div. 2 and product design. Our metallurgists and mechanical engineers perform root cause failure analysis and forensic evaluations for clients in the marine, industrial, and utilities areas.

We've pioneered new methods to use photogrammetry for accident reconstruction. We perform forensic analyses of equipment failures by applying engineering principles to determine the cause of a failure. Bartlett Engineering can provide the services of a registered professional engineer in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, or Florida.
Services
Rotating Inner Drum Autoclaves (RIDA) are used for sterilizing or steam processing regulated medical waste (RMW) and other non-homogeneous solids or slurries which would entangle any other device that uses an agitator. The inner drum contains spiral flights that help the content mix and tumble when the drum rotates.
Static Mixers have been a main product for Bartlett Engineering for over two decades. Bartlett Engineering static mixers are found in such varied industries as the offshore inhibition of produced hydrocarbon gas, refinery water wash, waste effluent treatment, oxygen service and crude oil sampling mixers.
Hillside nozzles are so difficult to fabricate that most process engineers avoid them at all costs. Angled hillside nozzles are so difficult to fabricate that they are never used. Bartlett Engineering works with Liberty Welding produce pre-cut nozzle pipes, repads and templates for hillside and angled hillside nozzles.
Axial Mixing: The blending of fluid along its direction of flow. Static mixers by themselves do very little axial mixing. This means that a static mixer can only blend the components in a particular plane passing through the housing. Bartlett Engineering can design supplemental devices that can be used with static mixers to improve axial mixing.
Forensic Engineering and Failure Analysis can apply to many mechanical parts such as Barges, Bearing, Boilers, Corrosion, Cranes, Engines, Fasteners, Flanges, Fracture Mechanics, Gears, O-RIngs & Seals, Pressure Vessels, Wire Rope, Welding, and Springs. Bartlett Engineering performs forensic analyses of equipment failures by applying engineering principles to the available information determine the cause of a failure.
