A Stepping Stone, Inc started as what most would call a "Mom & Pop" business in Plant City, Fl. Since its conception in 1990, A Stepping Stone has grown to be one of the largest & most trusted HVAC companies throughout central Florida. A Stepping Stone was founded by a husband & wife team, Sam & Denise Stone.
After years of demanding work, Sam began to train his 3 sons to take over the family business. However, that day came sooner than expected when Sam passed away in 2009. These days, 2 of the 3 boys are running the company alongside those that were trained by Sam directly. Matt & Marcus are continuing to grow in their parent's dream.

Our A/C unit is only 7 years old. I called A Stepping Stone for a minor issue. My condensate drain was clogged. They claimed to have fixed it. A few days later, our overhead unit was dripping even more. I called them and they scheduled us for service 2 days later. The technician claimed the previous technician didn't replace the AC drain line cap appropriately, which was causing the problem. He said he fixed it. 2 mins later, more dripping. So, he angled our drain pan, so it would flow better towards the drain line. Meanwhile he tells me, it going to cost $9500, should we have to replace our unit

I am absolutely appalled by this company. We returned from vacation to our A/C not cooling properly. The unit is 6 months old, and is under warranty. I was promptly called back by an A/C tech, who said he would be there within an hour. He never showed up or called to say he couldn't make it. In lieu of wasting an evening, and potential AC issues, I asked for a complimentary maintenance request for a cleaning the drain lines. I was immediately denied, due to the fact this is normally a homeowner's responsibility. I asked for the owner's information so I could talk to them directly versus going through

Better than expected! Our technician, Logan was very polite & took all the right precautions for the safety of of us all. We had multiple questions about the issues/management of our new home AC system. He politely answered all questions with great explanation. Will definitely be using Stepping Stone again in the future.

Would NOT recommend this company. We paid $120 dollars for their twice a year inspection. They inspected in April of this year and nothing was found to be wrong. On June 23rd of this year our air stopped working and we had to call out a technician and $95 dollars later we’re told our coils need a level 2 cleaning which will cost $545. I did manage… to get the $95 credited back because had we known in April we could have gotten it taken care of. We scheduled our service for Friday June 26th. I waited from 12 to 6 and no show. They did call to apologize and said they would be out Saturday

I wanted to thank Raefeal for coming to my house 30 mins after he got the call he took his time and serviced my ac it was down for two weeks before he came he was very professional and knowledgeable about his job and took pride in what he was doing because of him i was able to sleep well that night ac is fixed and is blowing colder than ever!!! I would definitely recommend this business to my entire family because of him!!!!!!!!!

I have a new construction home that the HVAC was installed by stepping stone and I cant get my house below 79 degrees. the temperature is different in every single room. I have had 5 technicians out and the managers and have gotten nothing resolved. this has gone on for three weeks now. Everyone that comes out wants to argue before the step foot in the house. I have had the manager of the Company come out and got the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This company is an absolute joke. Dont waste your time or money here
