Johnson Brothers Law is a small town law firm with deep roots in the community. Jesse A. Johnson and Samuel V. Johnson were raised in Chisago City and graduated from Chisago Lakes Senior High School. Both are licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota. Both are active within the community. They sponsor local activities and organizations as well as larger organizations such as Ducks Unlimited and the Minnesota Deer Hunter Association.
I grew up locally in Chisago City. I am a graduate of Chisago Lakes Senior High School. I graduated from Hamline School of Law in 1999 and obtained my first legal job as a law clerk for a judge in Hibbing. In 2000 I moved back to Chisago County and started my own practice. I handle primarily criminal cases, both in adult and in juvenile court.
I grew up in Chisago City, MN and graduated from Chisago Lakes High School. I lived in Duluth as I earned my undergraduate degree and worked as a server and bartender. I lived in Lowertown-St. Paul as I finished my law degree at William Mitchell. I now live in Chisago City and share a law office with my brother, Jesse Johnson.

I Highly recommend Sam Johnson. Perhaps the thing that impressed me most about Sam was nothing was "sugar coated". He was very straight forward and told me what to expect each step of the way. Going thru the Custody from start to finish, Sam kept me informed of each step and what the options were and what the risks were. There were no empty promises made just to keep the client happy which I know sometimes occurs when seeking counsel. Sam made the process so much easier and gave me peace of mind in a stressful but successful outcome.

Sam was my lawyer for child custody and he did a very thorough job and made sure he had a good understanding of my background of my situation with the custody agreement we had set before. He was able to give me advice on things that I didn’t even think about. He is a good lawyer and he is very professional as well. Sam is an excellent family lawyer. Very down to earth, no nonsense kinda guy. He doesn’t paint a rainbow, he tells you what’s most likely going to happen, And that’s what happens. Even tho my experience with Johnson Brothers Law has been limited to traffic violations, the end result was always positive, fair & unbiased.
