Our story as a company began as early as 1918, when a man by the name of Carl Meyers delivered meats to the Pittsburgh area by horse and wagon. The work proved to be long and hard, but Carl was determined to succeed.
Carl's hard work had payed off for him. He purchased an old delivery truck and eventually started up a trucking and construction business. Carl worked long hours for most of his life. It wasn't until he reached the age of 70 that Carl scaled down his work to 50 hours a week. In 1977, Carl - now 78 years old - partnered with his son Mark Meyers.
