I'm Ayami, and I'm originally from Hokkaido in the north of Japan. I live with my husband and baby boy, and two lovely chihuahuas in Pittsburg, California. I focus on San Fransisco and the East Bay, including Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Pittsburg, Antioch, and Brentwood.
All sessions require a session fee which is due at the time your photos are taken. Following your session and after previewing your photos, you select a package of your choice (a combination of pro quality prints, canvases, albums, and digital images). Packages start from $450~. Approximately 20~30 images will be presented in an online gallery prior to selecting your package.
Newborn babies are best photographed between 7-10 days of birth, because it is easier to pose them. Please book in advance if you are expecting a baby to guarantee availability. Ideally in the 7th or 8th month. Please don't wait until the last minute! I had customers who waited until the week before they were due and ended up not having their photos taken because they went into labor a little early.
Lustre prints - Kodak Endura Professional paper in Lustre surface. This paper is great for traditional printing and produces vivid color and excellent flesh tones making it a traditional favorite for portrait photography. Metallic prints - Kodak Endura Professional paper in Metallic surface. This paper has a glossy, chrome-like appearance and produces intense blacks and color saturation amplifying the visual depth and interest of any image.
2 years old toddler photos | Valentine's day mini session | East Bay, Pittsburg, Bay Area portrait photographer. My son is showing more and more interest in posing for photos, which is a nice thing for a photographer mom! We prepared the background together, and he stayed still and cooperated with my directions.

My wife and I had our newborn photography session a couple days before Christmas. It went great and Ayami was very professional. She even rushed the editing process to get a picture of our newborn the next day so we could have it to send people before Christmas. She knows how to work with babies really well and got our son to calm down multiple times and in many poses. At one point he peed on her and her stuff but it didn't phase her and she cleaned up and kept going. Prior session she was easy to communicate with. Afterwards our pictures were delivered quickly and no pressure to buy a bunch
