Some people might say I'm strange. Who am I kidding -- I say I'm strange. I live with one foot in this world and the other in a world very much of my own making. As a child, my bedtime stories existed in lands like Narnia and Middle Earth. My imagination was raised to run wild as the wind. I can often be found with my nose in a book, toes in the sand, or having a tea party with my daughter.
Some fun facts about me: I hate wearing shoes, drink an average of 4 cups of tea per day, wear a LOT of black, quote movies like it's my job, sing at the top of my lungs or not at all, met the love of my life when I was 11 years old, we played in a band together, got married at 19, and had a miracle baby named Phoenix.

Once upon a time, a 19 year old girl who hadn't taken a photography class in her life decided to start a photography business. In my 10 years of photographing life stories, I have learned a lot of things the hard way and I would do anything to prevent other creatives from having to take the same road.

The best decision I made for our wedding was hiring Sarah to be our photographer. I had looked at a ton of photographers and when I found Sarah's website and looked at the weddings she had previously done and read her bio, I was sold. From the moment I reached out to Sarah not only was she professional, she felt like an instant friend because she makes the whole process fun and personal. Having her there on our wedding day actually felt like a dear friend was taking our photos. We had so much fun with our photos! Sarah is just the best! My husband and I hired her to shoot our wedding 4 years ago and immediately felt at ease. She is professional, yet silly enough that you feel an instant sense of comfort when working with her. Now that we are expecting our first child, we knew that Sarah Kathleen was the only choice for doing our maternity shoot. It feels great to be able to quickly reconnect and share in our continued journey -- and to rest assured that I don't need to learn to pose or do anything special because Sarah will be there to coach me along the way. Really could not recommend her work enough!

Sarah is AMAZING. The way that she captures images is unlike anyone else. To top off her talent, she is one of the nicest people I've ever met and she really takes care in her clients and what she does. There is no one else in the world I would have rather done my wedding photos, and I hope one day I get the opportunity to have more done by her. Highly recommend!
