I'm a mom to four beautiful children and the wife to a wonderful man. I was born and raised in Oklahoma for the majority of my life and moved to Colorado in late 2014. Art has been a passion of mine from a very young age. I've always enjoyed coming up with creative ideas and watching them come to life.
My interest in photography began when my first baby was born. I must have taken thousands of pictures of her during her first year. With each child my love for photography blossomed. I realized how quickly children change and grow up. The love of capturing my four children's lives on camera has grown into a passion.

What exactly is professional retouching? To me, it's making subtle changes in portraits in a way that no one would have ever noticed. Not all professional photographers offer these services. I've corrected severe baby eczema (see below on my baby boy), baby acne, hair ties on wrists, baby poop on shirts (it happens!), acne, drool, wrinkles, bruises, black eyes, boogers, stray hairs and the list goes on.
To help your newborn session run smoothly please follow these steps the best you can. I know each person's life may not allow for each step completely but if you follow this as close as you can, it will help to ensure a great session! First and foremost, it is important to me for your baby to look comfortable and peaceful in the photographs and for each image to be a piece of art.

Photography is one of my many passions but my interest in breastfeeding education began when I gave birth to my daughter in 2005.

I would recommend Mindy to do your baby/kid pictures she was phenomenal from the beginning. Communication was very clear and timely from the beginning and her work during our newborn session was an incredible experience. We are very happy with our daughter’s pictures couldn’t ask for anything different. She capture moments that will last a lifetime in a creative abs beautiful way. Great job :)
