I became a State Farm agent in 1981 soon after graduating from Loyola University in Baltimore where I played lacrosse. Originally from Long Island my wife Clare and I came to Northern Virginia not knowing a soul and I started the agency from scratch. Along the way we raised five great kids who all went to school in Loudoun County and who have now given us the gift of grandchildren.
Over the years the agency built into the largest State Farm agency in Loudoun and one of the largest in the state. My staff over all this time have always been the greatest asset to our success. I want to thank all our policyholders both past and present and look forward to serving the insurance needs of the area for many years to come.

The team at Joe Mullee have been INCREDIBLY helpful throughout our years-long relationship with them. Most recently, they were quick to respond and assist to an incident that took place 1) out of state and 2) on New Year's Eve, when the office was closed. They go above and beyond, are always so kind and helpful, and are just a fantastic team. I would recommend this office wholeheartedly!

Can't say enough good things about how quick Sara and company in the office are to respond and help whenever I need them or have a question about quotes/pricing. I have been insured by Joe's office since 2015 with multiple car insurances (mine, my son's and my wife's), renter's insurance and most recently homeowner's insurance. Whether it's day or night (literally), I get a response or follow-up and they make sure everything is good. Definitely recommend them to anyone in the area who needs insurance.

We have been customers of Joe Mullee State Farm for decades. The service is wonderful. They always answer all of our questions and claims have been handled quickly and efficiently. I recently asked Mallory to file a claim for a broken car windshield. A few minutes later, I called the auto glass company to tell them a claim would be filed…and they already had it!

I have had insurance through Joe Mullee’s office since 2014 and have (unfortunately due to a string of bad luck) had to call upon their car insurance services numerous times in the last 7 years. They have always been incredibly responsive, professional, fair, and quick to help me resolve any needs. We have/had two cars, a boat, and rental insurance with them and wouldn’t consider using anyone else.

My husband has been with Joe Mullee since he was 17 (29 years ago) and I came onto his policy when we were married 23 years ago. The entire office staff has always been very helpful when we've needed assistance through the years. Sara, in particular, is very attentive and explains everything very thoroughly! Especially in the last couple of years as we have added our children to our policy! I highly recommended Joe Mullee and his office for your insurance needs!!

Sarah has been tremendously helpful with getting my college student set up with renters and car insurance while he's in Virginia. Mallory and Sarah have always been so pleasant and helpful and they have gone above and beyond to help me whenever I need it! Emergency Roadside Service was a horrible experience! Roadside Service is Impossible! State Farm uses a third party service for towing, so after being on hold for 30 minutes, I was transferred two more times and each time I to "be verified" again! I've called several offices and all of them are closed including this office, which is where I got my insurance. Mobile app won't accept my policy number. Finally get a tow company and called them and the number is out of service! Don't get stranded on the side of the road - Geico was much better!!!!

Finding businesses or people who give good customer service is so difficult these days. I have been so impressed with the Joe Mullee agency. Sara and Mallory are my two favorite agents. After years of what can only be described as the worst possible relationship one can have with an insurance agency (hint: rhymes with Allstate) the heavens cracked open and gifted me with a State Farm superhero masquerading as a woman named Mallory. I have been insured by State Farm for about 50 years. I have worked with offices from coast to coast due to various military moves. Joe's office has been the best of them all. I now have both personal and business policies. Mallory has always been there to promptly respond to any inquiries I send. For our business policies, she willingly goes to bat for us directly with the property manager to address their concerns so I don't have to deal with it.

One of the best insurance agents/agency you will EVER work with. His staff is AMAZING, accurate, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. My policy was handled with excellence for the years I was in Virginia. I just moved to California, but I cannot recommend this agent enough.
