Originally from central New York, I came to the Raleigh area by way of Boston in 1995 after college. I began my professional career as a computer aided design drafter, and I have worked with various construction companies in the Raleigh area. The transition to becoming a massage therapist began in 2009 when I asked myself, "What is my dream job?"
It didn't take long for me to realize that I had been doing the "dream job" as a hobby since high school. After few years of working my full time drafting job & massage in the evenings, I decided to focus on massage full-time. I use a range of techniques to customize the session for each client. Whatever the client needs for that day, whether it's an injury, tightness or relaxation, each session is different for the client.

Services
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life. 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.
Where will my massage or bodywork session take place? Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table especially designed for your comfort. Must I be completely undressed? Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, it is entirely up to you what you want to wear.
Swedish massage uses lubrication from oil, lotion, cream, or gel to facilitate fluid, methodical movements. The goal of a Swedish massage is to relax the tissues of the body, relieve physical and emotional stress and improve circulation. Most consider this type of massage to be the most relaxing and refreshing, all while relieving stress and reaping the body's benefits of massage.

FIRST TIMER HERE !!! I am so beyond grateful that my first massage session ever was with Mary. There are not enough words to describe how amazing of a massage therapist Mary is. I have a very high stress job and I have kind of got used to always being tense. Mary was able to help me release so much tension and even BREATHE EASIER (like WHAT ??!!). She was so professional and beyond kind. She’s so unique and definitely works on your individual needs. I cannot wait to go back for my next session!! <3

Mary M is a FANTASTIC massage therapist! She was friendly and very good at listening to what I wanted/sore areas, etc; however, her true art form is once she starts her practice and she can truly FEEL what and where needs attention and she addresses it perfectly. One of the very best massages I have received - very relaxing and well worth every penny! I would highly recommend her!

Mary is a fantastic masseuse! She takes the time to listen and understand whatever issues your body has, and then releases the tightness in the affected muscles. Her technique is not like a lot of "typical" massages that use lots of pressure and hurt--it doesn't hurt at all. She has options for aromatherapy and hot stones as well (I highly recommend the hot stones!). When you're done, you feel better as soon as you get off the table. You can feel how relaxed your body is and how much your mobility has improved. I always book an appointment before a dance competition when I need to be moving at
