Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is what is known as "Straight Bankruptcy." A Chapter 7 filing wipes your slate clean! We can discharge all your unsecured debts for you with a few exceptions such as: certain tax debts, money owed to the government for fines/costs, anything associated with fraud, student loans and child support/alimony obligations.
A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy filing can help you to reorganize and repay your debts at your own pace. Most Chapter 13 filings repay unsecured debts - credit cards, personal loans, medical bills - at 0% interest and attorney fees come from what the creditors would receive. If you fall behind on any of your secured debts, Chapter 13 can help get you current.
Our firm can assist a private individual or small company with actions as a creditor in a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Debt settlement is where a creditor agrees to accept a reduced amount in satisfaction of an outstanding debt. Most companies that you owe money to realize that if you were to file bankruptcy they would receive very little if any money. Consequently, these companies are often willing to accept a lesser amount.

I have a mostly positive experience with this firm. They made me feel comfortable in one of my most uncomfortable times, and they were sure to make sure I was understanding of everything I was happening. I’d highly recommend. The only thing I had an issue with was that my ID wasn’t submitted in time for court, which made the bankruptcy ruling delayed a little bit. Other than that (mistakes happen), I am completely happy with them. They have flexible payment plans as well, and a kind and caring staff who want to keep you up to date.
