When you realize that you are no longer able to work, it is time to find out realistically. Many people find themselves in need of assistance after they have become disabled or injured, have been wrongfully denied benefits or compensation, and are enduring financial hardship. My name is Sara L. Gabin, and I have been an Oregon lawyer in the Portland area since 1981.
It is my goal to help each of my clients receive the compensation they deserve, whether it is in the form of Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits, workers' compensation benefits, or a recovery from an accident injury. Each legal action is unique, and it is my role as your Portland Social Security Disability lawyer to make sure your needs are met and that you understand your rights throughout the process.

(tl;dr: rude, poor triage skills, probably won't help you without a healthy whiff of money in the air.)
I have a permanent disability. I was denied for benefits in 2013, appealed and received them in 2014, then lost them as I surpassed the earning cap in 2017. I've been out of work since covid hit until picking up a job two months ago. This dispensary requires all employees complete a probationary period on the retail side; I should be finding out about the IT position I applied for next month!
Two weeks ago I felt I had no choice but to disclose my disability to my employer. I received no response

Outstanding! Sara is very thorough and kept me appraised of the activity pertaining to my case. I was extremely pleased with the results, which I feel was due to Sara’s experience and dedication to her clients! Sara made a stressful process much easier to deal with, for which I am truly thankful! Thank you, Sara

Sara is unprofessional, extremely rude and condescending. She called my office for assistance and felt she could talk down to me while I was trying to help her. Sorry, Sara. You'll need to be polite if you want others to accommodate you. Old bat should drink a cup of coffee and dig deep down into her treat others how I would like to be treated bag. Look at all the one stars you get. No surprise there. Hopefully your attitude gets an adjustment, for your own sake. :)

I was calling around to try and get some information about filing my worker's comp. claim and had a very similar experience to the other reviewer on this page-Portland W. She was belittling, condescending, and spoke to me as if I were beneath her. I know very little about how worker's comp. works and this is why I wanted to consult an attorney. I made mistakes filing for an appeal and instead of the other people/lawyers I spoke with who treated me with respect while being up front and honest with me, her honesty included a verbal bashing. I was barely able to explain what my situation

I have contacted several Portland Area attorneys regarding my disability case for multiple illnesses, including a life threatening disease. In comparison she was incredibly rude and insensitive. While she gave a similar overview of the how the process would work as did other attorneys, I was quite surprised when she cut me off before I was able to give her all of my diagnosis. I had only started with some of my less serious issues when she said that she was wasting her time and she did not know why she was speaking to me. I think that if a professional is concerned with wasting her time on cases
