He graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1984, then immediately entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps as a Captain. He spent the next four years at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, providing dental care to officers, enlisted personnel and advanced individual trainees as well as retirees and their family.

We're excited to provide you with the best care possible. Discovering cavities used to be very straightforward. A visual exam, aided by a dental instrument, could locate some soft or demineralized tooth structure.
Have your teeth become dull or stained? Wine, cigarette smoking, coffee, and other substances can cause tooth staining. In-office teeth whitening is an effective way to achieve a significant improvement in the color of your teeth in less than an hour. We use whitening gel and a special light for excellent results as well as take-home kits.
In addition to your at-home tooth brushing and flossing regimen, routine professional cleanings and comprehensive examinations are an important part of your oral health maintenance. Your routine care includes a thorough cleaning, including removal of tartar. We will do a complete visual exam, checking your teeth, tongue, and gums, as well as completing an oral cancer screening.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment in our Statesboro, GA office. We will have paperwork regarding your medical and dental history and insurance information for you to complete. If you need help determining your insurance coverage, ask us. Our billing staff is happy to help. We will happily file most insurances, including payments from some PPO and indemnity plans.

First time patient and was very impressed with the customer service every single person in this office offers. It all started with the super friendly and knowledgeable receptionist when I first called. You can tell the place is a well oiled machine with the same goal in mind: treating people right and explaining what is going on every step of the way. It definitely puts you at ease. As someone who grew up terrified of getting dental work done, I can’t recommend Dr. Marz highly enough. He takes time to explain what he will be doing and makes sure his patients are comfortable. He has scheduled me in multiple times now for last minute chips and the work he does always looks flawless. The staff are lovely as well and I look forward to my biyearly conversations with my hygienist. I no longer dread the dentist because of this place!

I first met Beth at a store in Statesboro. She was wearing a scrub top with the Premier’s logo on it and I asked her if she worked there. She said she did and I proceeded to mention my dental concerns with her.
She mentioned that there were 2 Dentists there and that they both were great. After spending some time with her discussing my needs I decided to make a appointment.

Received reimbursement from my insurance and waiting for my check from the office only to be informed the bookkeeper is on vacation and they don’t know when it’ll be ready. $301 dollars that the office is holding on to. Rebecca is who I dealt with and in my opinion she has no right to be a receptionist she tells you one price over the phone and when you get there you pay another, she’s also a snot! Other than her the staff were very friendly but she is the reason I will be transferring to another dentist.

Dr. Marz and staff are the greatest! I chipped a tooth on Saturday, and called on Monday to be "fit in", and was able to go in that morning. The procedure of having crowns made and fitted would take 3 hours, which I expected would be hard to schedule. I was actually able to go in the next day. In 2 1/2 hours, Dr. Marz was able to analyze, produce,… custom-color, and install two crowns that look exactly like my own teeth. Dr. Marz has been my dentist for many, many years. I am extremely happy with my latest dental work of having crowns on my front teeth. The crowns were made in the office and they look so natural.
