Once Mr. Gustafson retired from his teaching career, he and his wife ran the business full time, Spring until Fall, with the help of their children during their college breaks.
After working as an accountant for a CPA firm several years, their son Eric began his own accounting business and joined Gustafson Pool and Spa as a partner in 1990. Eric and his wife are now the sole owners, with the help of a fully trained and loyal staff. My husband and I had a pool installed in 2020 and we have recommended them to everyone we know that is interested in getting a pool. Eric, Miguel, Justin, and Manuel are the most kind, hard-working, reliable, great communicators, and honest people we have had the pleasure of working with. Eric answered all of my ridiculous questions and helped us get our pool balanced. They even went out of their way to help with our closing. We highly recommend using them.

Crew just showed up without calling and opened gait into our fenced in pool area and walked in. Poor communication between staff and owner. Specifically asked staff to test for phosphates and she didn’t which ended up costing us more money in chemicals. Scheduled an apt for a liner they just replaced and to look at other faulty equipment they sold us and it was never written down so they never showed. List goes on and on. If I could give them negative stars I would. Definitely not how I would run a business
