Community Animal Hospital was founded on the principle that pets are part of the family. Our goal is to treat all clients with respect, and realize that your time is valuable too. We vow to treat all patients as if they were our own. We will offer a variety of care options and explain what the best healthcare plan is for your cat or dog based on their needs and lifestage.
Services
Our knowledgeable staff is available for consultation during office hours. If you are concerned that your pet is ill then they would benefit from a comprehensive physical exam. If your pet is in stable condition, we can schedule an appointment during business hours. If you are experiencing a real emergency after business hours, call (574)377-3394 for advice or call NIVES in Fort Wayne at (260)426-1062.
Destiny Rescue is a Christian-based, non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing children from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. We sell jewelry at our front reception desk to help raise money. 2nd Mile Missions is breaking the cycle of poverty by providing education, healthcare, nutrition and spiritual enrichment to children in the Dominican Republic.
Read testimonials from pet owners who have been helped by Community Animal Hospital and their staff. Love the staff! So friendly and helpful. I like the setup of the clinic and really appreciate being taken to an exam room even if we're early. In addition to the excellent care, their love for pets shines through.
We want your pet to feel at home while you are out of town or on vacation. We offer spacious kennels or luxury boarding suites for dogs. We provide bedding so there is no need to bring their's from home. CAH provides nutritious meals for their stay but sudden diet changes may cause diarrhea or inappetance so you are encouraged to bring their regular diet.
We have our standard cages and we also offer a luxury condo. Our feline guests are housed with a scenic view to watch the birds & the outdoors. They will be cared for at least twice daily. You are encouraged to bring their regular diet so they will feel the most at home. We just require that they are up to date with vaccines or we can give them here if that's easiest.

We absolutely love Community Animal Hospital! Dr. Woodcock has always been so kind, caring and compassionate to all of our fur babies. She not only listens to what you have to say, but goes above and beyond to ensure your pet receives the highest quality of care possible. She takes the time needed to understand what is going on, helps you to know what she is doing at all times and is always eager to help make every visit the best that it can possibly be. Our family truly appreciates all that she's done for our boys. We have no doubt that they are in the best hands with her as she's proven capable

Take all of my animals here for everything from neuter, spay, shots, flea and tick...a little pricier than a couple other places but they get to know your whole household of pets and for us, THATS A LOT and they aren't just someones dog. My dog LOVES the people here. They treat the animals so well when left in their care.
