Confidence Landscaping, Inc. was founded by Jeff in 1980 as a full-service landscape design/build company based in the Silicon Valley. Jeff is licensed in the State of California as both a Landscape Architect and Landscape Contractor. He is responsible for all business operations and technical aspects of landscape design, construction and management for the company.
During Jeff's career, his company has garnered more than 60 landscape industry awards for excellence in the field of landscape design & construction with specific honors focused on low water-use design and eco-friendly installations. For more then 30 years, he has been an active member of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), serving as California State President in 2001 and was honored as its Member of the Year in 2001.

Confidence Landscaping was recently honored in Lake Tahoe at the 2019 California Landscape Contractors Association's (CLCA) annual convention with two highly coveted awards. Confidence Landscaping is a full-service design/build firm providing innovative and sustainable landscape design, construction and management.
For this young family, we created an interactive garden for play, eco-education and entertaining. The rear garden is inspired by numerous orchard trees and large vegetable boxes where the children love to plant and harvest. A dry stream bed doubles as an active rear drainage system that collects water from adjoining properties and downspouts.
Our clients saw the opportunity to create an entirely new garden when an older deck needed to be replaced. The final result includes an expansive deck for entertaining and outdoor dining, a fire pit for relaxing evenings and a remote control car racing track imbedded into the landscape. As this beautiful, interactive garden was developed, we updated the irrigation technology and selected plants to achieve a truly water-wise landscape.
After completing an interior remodel this family wanted to connect the new modern style with the garden using sustainable & environmentally-friendly materials. Since our clients enjoy two different design directions, we employed straight clean lines in the front garden and emphasized a more organic free flow style throughout the back of the property.
We find that a highly collaborative approach works well to achieve the best results that combines the clients' vision with our design/build expertise. Thoughtful planning and detailed execution ensures each project captures the unique qualities of the existing architecture, overall site, climate and budget.

After receiving several exorbitant quotes from several landscapers, we conducted a new round of quotes with design-build landscaper like Confidence. After meeting Jeff and his son Max, I knew we'd found a company that could both achieve our vision and work within our budget. We had a simple but unique project in the foothills of Cupertino with a living roof with native grasses, a decomposed granite path alongside the house with woodland plantings and a custom fire pit designed to utilize some of the onsite materials including several large tree trunks. We sued Jeff Sheehan, owner of Confidence Landscaping in Campbell, CA, on 3.22.10, in Santa Clara County Superior Court, Small Claims Division, for breach-of-contract relating to a home landscaping job we hired him for in the summer of 2008. The Small Claims Case Number is 7-10-SC-038077. The judge found that Sheehan had both charged us for work he never did, and performed work that did not satisfy the requirements of the Contract to which we agreed and paid. The judgment against Sheehan was $2213.65 (including court costs and interest paid to us). Sheehan did not try to appeal the ruling.

We hired Confidence to implement landscape and hardscape plans another designer had previously drawn up, and we couldn't be happier. Jeff and his team were great to work with. We landscaped our entire backyard with Confidence last summer. I absolutely love our new yard and the entire creative process with Jeff. Love these guys. We did a major landscaping project in our front yard. They had great ideas, implemented them professionally, and finished ahead of schedule and on-budget. They are a pleasure to deal with -- great customer service and they encourage clients to invest in the right places.
