Avery, Cesar and their team did an excellent job rebuilding and extending the Michigan rock retention walls adjacent to the driveway. They worked skillfully and diligently to get all the details right to meet and exceed our expectations , both in hardscape appearance and function, giving us the confidence that the walls will stand for many years to come. We had a great experience installing a stone walkway and stairs! When Mike came out to quote the job, he took time to listen to what we wanted for the space, and offer us suggestions that incorporated what we wanted. When Jake and his crew came out to build it, they were professional and efficient! They kept us informed every step of the way and even transplanted some ground cover plants we had planned to move after the walkway was completed. It looks even better than we had imagined it could! Great Outdoors installed a permeable paver patio for us, and they also shaped and mulched the border gardens along our fence line. We have worked with a lot of contractors the last few years, and this was one of the best experiences we've had - no micro-managing the install, and the final product is impeccable! They also did a great job with clean-up afterward. Jake was our crew leader, and he and his crew were very professional. I had a couple questions while the work was in progress. Great Experience! Between weather, Covid, and staffing, it took some time to actually schedule the work. But once it did happen, it went smoothly and efficiently, with brilliant results. Mike did great working up front with us, and Jake did the work with speed, skill, and made it look beautiful. Kudos to all, especially to Jake - he loves his job, and it shows in his work. We've been with Great Outdoors for a few years now and we couldn't be happier. Other companies we've been with haven't come close to the Great Outdoors level of professionalism. The office staff are great and Randy (Crew #5) cuts our lawn beautifully. Their attention to detail is top notch. Randy even fixed a hole in my fence the other day so my dog wouldn't escape. I guarantee you won't get that type of service from other companies.

Our family hired the Great Outdoors for a home landscaping project. We didn't know exactly what we wanted, nor how much it would cost. Our initial meetings with Mike K. were very informative and helpful, and we never got the sense that he was trying to sell us the most expensive job. He simply presented options, their upsides and downsides and costs, and it was all very helpful. The crew (Tim, Eusebio, Francisco, Jaime, Mario, and others) were friendly, professional, and thorough. We love the finished result. Really can't recommend this outfit enough.

After a call was placed to your office Clark came to the house and was immediately able to determine what was causing our concerns. Mike Seever did 2 applications of Tenacity to kill the bent grass and everything went smoothly. All correspondence I had with Great Outdoors was super.

"Wow! Your lawn looks great! How do you keep it looking so nice?" One of several comments from neighbors and complete strangers during the past dry spell. Not going to lie, LOTS of water, but the crew at Great Outdoors have really come through this year. Michael keeps the weeds in check and the lawn fertilized and Arturo and Cydnee keep it perfectly cut, trimmed and edged! Thanks for a job well done under harsh conditions. Also, Christine in the office is always friendly. cheerful and helpful whenever I have a question or issue to resolve.

We have been working with Great Outdoors for project based landscaping, on going maintenance and snow plowing. We live in a country club setting and they have far exceeded our expectations. They are responsive and the team members they have at our house are professional and great. It's not an easy business and the earlier negative reviews are from years ago...the Great Outdoors we've been working with since 2013 have continually improved and we appreciate them.
