Services
According to recent studies, 5 percent of all motor vehicle fatalities are clearly caused by automobile maintenance neglect. Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer.
Sack's Shell is a full-service preventive maintenance and auto repairs center in the Morris Plains, NJ 07950 area, specializing in AC Repair, Alignment, Brakes, Car & Truck Care, Domestic Cars & Trucks, Electrical Services, Electronic Services, Engine & Transmission, Engine Maintenance, General Services, Heating and Cooling Services, Import Cars & Trucks, Inspections and Emissions, Miscellaneous Services, Quick Lube Services, Tires, Towing, Transmission Services and Undercar Services since 1985.
Today's cars, light trucks, and sport-utility vehicles are high-tech marvels with digital dashboards, oxygen sensors, electronic computers, unibody construction, and more. They run better, longer, and more efficiently than models of years past. Resist the temptation to suggest a specific course of repair.
Tires are the single most important safety feature on your car. They are the only thing that connects the car to the road, and life-saving technologies like antilock brakes and electronic stability control cannot do their job if the tires don't have a good grip on the pavement. As the adage goes, nothing lasts forever.

A professional, friendly garage and gas station. People had told me to come here and now I can see why. They have the knowledge and experience to work on everything from your basic American sedan to something fancy (like the DeLorean I got a photo of!). Very happy with my device. Will definitely be coming back again whenever my car needs some TLC. Fred rocks!

I used to take my car to an auto place very close to my house l, but the owners seemed to change more than Lady Gaga during a two-hour concert. One of my neighbors recommended Fred and his team at Sack's Shell. They have me in and out within 45 minutes and I can't complain about the price or the level of service. Fred is always very pleasant and makes time for me whenever needed.

Car died while driving at 10pm Sunday night. Had AAA tow it to Sack's bc I saw their good reviews. Glad I did. They diagnosed the alternator first thing Monday morning, quoted a reasonable price for parts and labor, had the work done and my car back to me on the same day Monday 5pm. Super friendly, great service.

Having recently bought a 2010 Chevy Impala from Zoom Auto in Parsippany I quickly discovered a bunch of hidden issues. No surprise there, the most challenging however were the oil leaks which quickly surfaced. It was diagnosed incorrectly 3x by auto repair shops such as MAVIS, Pep Boys and Firestone. MAVIS said it was from an oil plug washer and then Pep Boys wanted to replace the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets for $3300. and then Firestone said it was a transmission leak and sent me to Denville Transmission where Rob strongly recommended "SACKS SHELL" as he stated it was

BMW Of Morristown told me at a regular maintenance appointment that I needed a four wheel alignment and road force balance. They wanted to charge me $ 474 for the job. Seemed high (it's BMW after all). I decided to shop around called Sack's Shell. The gentleman told me he'll see what needed to be done and that the road force balance was highly unlikely if I didn't feel vibrations while driving (I didn't). Turns out all I needed was a tire rotation, for a grand total of $25. Take that BMW of Morristown! I highly recommend Sack's Shell since originally they told me what

You cannot find a more honest, professional and pleasant mechanic anywhere. I can't count the times I've been pleasantly surprised by the small bill I received on something that could easily have been passed off (by a less honest shop) as requiring a major repair. They will always give you informed options to save money when they are available.

I want to thank Sack's Shell for their continued excellent care of my vehicle. With the expertise of Ralph and Fred, my 2000 Jeep Wrangler drove successfully 1800 miles from Morristown to Scottsdale, AZ.
Despite living in Hoboken, I would drive out to Morris Plains for regular maintenance for the past five years. My Jeep now has 150k miles, and continues to run strong thanks to Sack's!

I brought my vehicle to Sack's for some general maintenance--an oil change, a change of brake fluid, a change of radiator coolant, installation of a set of Koni FSD shocks I had purchased for the vehicle, tire rotation, and wheel alignment--who knows what those potholes have been doing.
Normally, they would give rides to close by work locations. However, Florham Park was deemed a bit far. So I opted for a cab.
My car was left there for the entire day. While at work, I was half expecting them to call at some point to give some type of status update on the car. But instead, I called them around
