Well I would like to begin with saying I have been worked on by to my knowledge every dentist and assistant on staff over the years, and each and every employee is equally highly effective, as they are polite, and respectful. When I began going I had an absolutely horrific phobia of dentistry. After time working with Dr.Schiff and Dr.Passes I am now entirely free of any fears associated with dentist work. This was my first visit and I was very impressed. The entire staff is very kind and caring. Dr. Passes is very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly. The office is lovely and very clean. They also had a staff member explain all the costs and finance options. My daughter referred me - she had a very good experience and a great outcome, as well.

I have been a patient for a little more than a year; from the first appointment, I felt seen and heard, and knew that my most urgent concerns could be addressed effectively and with minimal pain. Having developed trust with all the staff, I took the step of committing to more in-depth treatment and restoration, and I am very happy that I did. I want to share my most recent visit to Passes Dental Care. I had one crown put in by Dr. Passes. He is “Simply The Best” (like Tina Turner sings) at what he does. You never feel anything when he is working on you. You can relax going in and coming out of his office! I always wait as long as possible to go and then I realize afterwards it’s no big deal at all. Staff, office & overall ambiance is extremely welcoming & nice but don't let it blind you from the reality! Short summary: ALWAYS clarify if your going in for a free consultation and if so CONFIRM if your insurance is accepted at this office because if not, the free consultation is worth absolutely nothing if you need referrals, etc. Also, get a second opinion if something feels wrong! They did not diagnose a massive infection I have, I had a new dentist the following day diagnose the infection.

This was my first visit and I can say with all honesty that I have never had a more enjoyable time at the dentist! The waiting room is comfortable and welcoming and the entire office is spotlessly clean. The best part of the experience was the staff, though. Even as a new patient I felt like an old friend. My only regret is there wasn't more time to chat! In spite of the fact I need a root canal I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to my next trip to the dentist. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could!

DR.PASSES and his ENTIRE STAFF are amazing .. when I say Amazing I mean from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave, they treat you like family. Actually they may treat you better than family.. lol in all seriousness. If you are afraid of the Dentist as I am, have no fear here.. you will not feel ANY pain. They have a unique technique to make you feel like you are on a cloud, and by the time you know it you are done. They accept my insurance which makes it more affordable. I have been a patient of Dr. Passes for four years now. The best dentist I have ever been to. He is honest and explains everything step by step of what is needed to be done. I have no pain whatever with any work that he does. The staff is so kind and always willing to help out. I recently started Invisalign earlier this year for six months and everything went well. I was lucky enough to have LaVanda, one of the dental assistants help me throughout the entire process and I could not have done it without her. She was encouraging and checked up on me to find out how I was doing with the Invisalign

About seven months ago I started looking into nearby dentist offices that offered Invisalign at a reasonable price. I contacted Passes Dental Care after seeing an ad in the paper noting an Invisalign promotion. From the moment that I walked into Dr. Passes office, I felt at ease. The staff was welcoming, patient and informative. They walked me through the process and described exactly what was included with the Invisalign promotion.
Dr. Passes really knows his stuff when it comes to Invisalign. I knew I was in great hands from the beginning.

When someone is going through any tooth ordeal, everything can be a problem including where you decide to have the issue tended to. Being in the medical field it can be a challenge being satisfied as you know how great care should be . This office was such a pleasure! From answering the phone, making the appointment, facilitating the paperwork, walking through the doors of the office, during the office visit, afterwards...it goes on and on. Passes Dental is a beautiful facility with an exceptionally friendly staff. For those who fear dentists like myself, you are made to feel comfortable. BUT that is how you get talked into getting expensive work done. I won't go into detail of my experience, because it is too painful. Dr. Passes is AMAZING! The office is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. I received a nice gift on my first visit. They always have day planners and lip balm. They have a better selection of coffee than Starbucks. To top it off, they have soft chocolate chip cookies.

Why, sure, if you want to spend $6000 on a root canal you probably didn't need in the first place, go to Harvey Passes. He recommended me for a root canal (I was 19), brings in his root canal specialist, and boom, thousands of dollars. I wonder what inside deal they have going on. Ridiculously expensive. But it's Great Neck, so people'll pay it.
