I used Carlton to take down a chimney that was in poor repair and leaking. Quality of work appears good. However, I left initial conversation thinking they would trust me to accept a personal check at completion of work. We had discussed her preference to use PayPal or Venmo; Venmo I did not have and PayPal charges a fee so I told her I preferred not to use those. At completion of work, I received a message advising me to complete payment via Venmo or PayPal by end of day. Yvonne was not open to my recollection of our conversation and when I paid via PayPal as a business transaction, demanded that

We were referred to Carlton Roofing by our home inspector for a new home purchase that needed a roof.
