Newborn photography is my passion as it is such a special time that passes so quickly. Newborns are photographed within the first two weeks of life.

This is such a unique and special time in your life, maternity photography is the perfect way to tastefully record this moment so you can remember it always. In addition to your individual portrait, you may want to include images of you with your partner and your children. This session is usually scheduled for sometime within the 32-36 week gestation period.
We know that once your baby is born, you'll have a lot on your mind, and selecting a photographer might not be first on your list. That's why it's best to book your baby's photo session between two and four months before your due date. Once your little one makes his or her big entrance, let us know the news, and we will coordinate with you to choose a day for the photo session, or keep the date previously booked if baby is born right on time.
When baby is ready for sitting but not yet on the go, we will capture him/her at the roly-poly happy phase, when those big grins and belly laughs are lighting up your life. Sitting babies make the absolute best models, since they are easily amused with peek-a-boo and squeaky toys. This is also the perfect age to do naked or diaper only portraits, as their baby rolls are visible.
Is my session only cake smashing photos? Only the second half of the session involves cake smashing and bath time photos. We can shoot 1-2 other outfits beforehand to give you a well-rounded gallery of images. It is important to have photos of your baby to document them at this age separate from the cake smashing ones.
What is your comfort level with showing skin? Do you mind showing your bare bump (shirt on)? If in studio, do you want to show a bit more, such as more skin baring wrapping or bandeau style tops or boy cut shorts (underwear). I understand that we all have different comfort levels and I am careful to not cross any boundries.
