In 1972, Colonial Engineering began molding Sch 40/80 PVC & CPVC pipe-fittings. In 1984, we added plastic ball valves, butterfly valves and check valves to expand our capabilities in the industrial PVF, process piping, water treatment, pool/spa, commercial plumbing, and irrigation markets.
Colonial entered the Custom injection-molding business in 1985, building on the expertise gained from molding proprietary products in the valve and pipe-fitting market.Experience working with CPVC, PVC, PP, ABS, HDPE, Noryl, and other materials has enabled us to work with a variety of industries. In addition to injection-molding, we perform secondary CNC machining operations, hot stamp and pad print, and sub-assembly.

Colonial offers pneumatic or electric actuated True Union Ball Valves and Butterfly Valves. Mounting Kits, Valves, Actuators and Accessories can be sold separately, or as complete, tested assemblies. Colonial offers corrosion-resistant technopolymer actuators and coated cast aluminum actuators. Actuators are sized to fit Colonial Full Block TUBVs in sizes ranging from 1/2 - 4", and Butterfly Valves ranging from 2" to 12".
Offered in S x S and FPT x FPT configurations, 1/2 - 4 Colonial Engineering Sch 80 Unions provide a reliable connection. Gray PVC and CPVC products, both socket and threaded types shall conform to the requirements of ASTM D-2467 and D-2464 (PVC) and ASTM F-439 and F-437 (CPVC). Unions shall be produced from PVC type 1, cell classification 12454 or CPVC type IV, cell classification 23447.
