We are Professional Engineers, NACE certified Corrosion Specialists, CP Technicians, and Coating Inspectors qualified to perform corrosion control. This includes evaluation, design, installation, testing, and maintaining cathodic protection systems on a variety of facilities, pipelines, storage tanks and industrial piping systems.

We are experts with over 30 years of experience in the analysis and mitigation design for AC and DC Interference and AC-induced corrosion issues on pipeline. Utilizing our highly experienced staff we model, analyze, and design quality solutions to mitigate asset integrity issues.
Services
Cathodic protection company in the San Antonio area has immediate openings for CP survey technicians/testers, field technicians, helpers, and equipment operators to work on our drilling and construction crews for anode bed installation and CP related services. Technicians with a current CDL license and tanker endorsement are preferred.
Mr. Cal Chapman has performed environmental, civil and corrosion engineering projects in Texas, Alaska, New Mexico, and North Dakota since 1981. Beginning in 1988-89, he co-founded EFSI dba Chapman Engineering, and started the first of three U. S. patent applications for UST leak detection.

Mr. Ames has worked in pipeline corrosion control and operations for 40 years, creating internal and external corrosion management programs for multiple operators over that time.He served with Northern Natural Gas in the Liberal, Kansas area for more than 15 years, before joining a major Houston-based natural gas production, transmission and distribution company.
The C-Scan survey, done with proprietary tools supplied by only one vendor worldwide, consists of applying an AC electromagnetic signal, or current, to a pipeline through a conductor attachment. In the same general area as this conductive attachment, an electrical ground is also established in soil 50 to 300 feet away from the pipeline under study.

Most lenders require a Phase I ESA prior to lending money on commerical properties. The Phase I ESA determines the potential for environmental problems at a property based on current and historical site uses, and adjacent property uses.
