Well this is embarrassing. I finally had a chance to actually use All Country Air Conditioning & Heating to service my A/C unit. The A/C would cool, then stop cooling (the line would freeze up). After I'd turn the unit completely off and let the line thaw, I could turn it back on and it would cool again. I believe All Country Air Conditioning & Heating diagnosed it correctly as a small leak in the system and that I needed 1 pound of R-22 (yes, the soon to be unobtainable Freon which keeps going up in price, but that's what my system uses). These guys installed plumbing during a home renovation I did in 2008 and almost every year since I've found installation issues. They installed a hydronic heating system as part of the remodel and I've just finished replacing most of the pipe work that they installed that caused the system to not work well. Mostly poorly routed piping, low flow issues, and flow balancing. After completing this I still had one radiator that was non-functional so I got into a crawlspace to see what the issue was. They had plumbed the supply and return for the radiator to the same pipe. So no flow

I am absolutely thrilled with All County. I originally gave them a try when my normal HVAC company couldn't figure out why my HVAC system at our office was making a loud rattling sound. I had never had an issue with my previous company before, but even though they sent out their senior technician he seemed uninterested in solving the problem and said he could "try, but it might not work" to replace the electrical unit or something of the sorts...it would have been about $1,000. I said no and of course was charged a service fee.
