Sarah is great to work with and helps you with every detail of the planning. The space is cozy and festive and very convenient. Everyone liked having two floors with bars and food on both. We did Karaoke and had a slide show upstairs and they were both very popular. Sarah gives you a lot of options for set up and talks you through what you think would work best for your event. She works closely with some local caterers and that was very helpful too.

As a wedding planner, we had a great experience working with Sarah at Old Met Hall. They were quick to respond to our emails and questions, had a fantastic setup/breakdown team, and the space was in perfect order for us to use. I definitely recommend this beautiful venue to other couples looking for a timeless space with beautiful architectural detail in the best location in Charlottesville!

We booked Old Met about a year and a half before our wedding and it was the perfect space for our small ceremony & reception. First and foremost, many thanks to Sarah Beasley, who was there every step of the way and so patient with all of our questions/requests. Sarah was always prompt when responding to emails and remained flexible during our ever-changing schedule (we got married the weekend of a hurricane, so a few things got shuffled around!). The high ceilings and elegant details of the building are beautiful, but at the same time, the space is cozy and perfect for intimate gatherings. It

I recently attended a wedding at OMH... Not mine, of course. It's right in the middle of the downtown mall in Charlottesville. From the outside, it looks like just another building. When you walk inside it's simple. That's any venue for the most part. It's how you add the finishing touches that makes a place stand out. And for as simple as the set up can be you have a ton of options ahead of you.
