Kohler & Eyre is one of the best things that's ever happened to us. Before finding these guys, we'd been through three other CPAs because each one didn't know how to help us with our tax goals or to maximize our benefits for our businesses. Many mistakes were made, which needed to be amended, and cost extra money. It was extremely frustrating. Here, Josh Arvig has been very real, educational, and informative on what needs to happen. It does no good to make money if you can't keep it, so we really appreciate what he's taught us. We also love that Kohler & Eyre works together with their sister company

If I could give a 0 Star I would. i worked with them and talked to them about doing my taxes. They said they were really behind but would file an extension and get to my taxes in a few months. I called made ure they had all the paper work they needed to file the extension and confirmed they had everything they needed. And then they did not file the tax extension and sent a email to notify me. like a day before the extension was due. You would think they would call me or text me with something so time sensitive. But nope and didnt even find out till after the extension was over that it never happened

They botched a conversion from LLC to S Corp pretty badly. I brought it up and copied Mark Kohler and he replied without knowing too many facts on the matter and pushing all these things I should have done which didn't happen. I then replied and explained to him that I was actually a client for those services, and had hired his firm to do all of those things... He said he would look into it immediately! It's been six months.

I have worked with this company for years. I'm averagely paying about $3,500 to have my taxes done every year. They have never given me any guidance or direction on how to save money on our taxes but have the audacity to say if we want guidance on that we have to pay another $125 for that. So apparently I'm paying $3,500 just to have my information downloaded into the system and sent to the state. I thought having taxes prepared also meant, being directed as what to do better to save on them. Apparently not, well, without a price anyway.

Absolutely horrible service. They made me rush to provide all the info to complete taxes on time, then file an extension so they can file them later?! The first CPA I wasd assigned went months without replying to my messages. Also paid for Business Continuation Services, which included preparing company minutes. They never even asked me if anything in the company had changed. They just sent a generic, template Word document which would never pass any kind of sniff test. I've had to hire another CPA to fix the mess these guys created. You'd think the grunts doing the work would at least be aware

Had to pay $150 for a consultation where the lady I had the consultation with knew about as much about business taxes/law where I'm from as I do. The consultation ended with her saying she'd have to speak to her manager about what we should do going forward... which is what I thought the consultation was literally defined as... Then was hit with a follow up email asking if I wanted to pay another $150 to "have my numbers run" to see if I should be making any changes. Absurd price rates for very little value, based off the owner's social media following. Kudos to him for developing the demand, but

Started with K&E many years ago when our business was small. As far as we knew, they were doing a good job for us. In the past 3-4 years the wheels started to fall off. Each year they insisted they needed to get an extension, telling us we didn't get them our information in time, which was baloney. Then they would wait until the very last day of the extension to finish our taxes. We were also shuffled off to a different person within the office each and every year! No one knew our businesses at all and each one did things completely different with every filing.

Do yourself a favor, run as far away from this company as you can. I stopped dealing with this company long ago and I am STILL finding 30k mistakes in our Profit Loss Reports. We keep very good books in our office. We label each check we write with a customer name. Its very simple.
This company would send me pages and pages of suspense reports and CHARGE ME to go through them and fix their mistakes.
You'll have to ask them over and over and over and over to send you one expense report.
