My name is Leivy Barrios. I joined the awesome team here at Prime Dental Care in 2013. Started as a receptionist, insurance coordinator, treatment coordinator, I learned all about dentistry from administrative side. I currently work as the office manager supervising both of our dental offices in Princeton and Bridgewater.

Dr. Nilay Patel is a NJ native born in Jersey city and raised throughout the state. Dr Patel was accepted into a 7 year accelerated Bs/DMD program through Fairleigh Dickenson University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2011 and has since been expanding his Dental knowledge with numerous post graduate programs including a 1 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship which he completed in 2012 from UMDNJ.Dr. Patel has also served our country as a Captain in the New Jersey National Guard for over 8 years and had the pleasure of meeting and treating thousands of service members during his tenure.

Don't agree to anything, call you insurance to check if what they say is indeed covered. They are out of network.
Details:
Was client for many years, service was all right and they were in the insurance network. This year was recommended to do a procedure that was promised by Dr. Ma to be covered by the insurance 100%. When asked the from desk I received same answer multiple times. They even printed a treatment plan that was showing zero out of pocket.
Soon after a bill for $500+ arrived. Prime Dental Care said "We are sorry, insurance charged and you signed the papers." Of course insurance

I used to be terrified by dentists until I found Dr. Ma's practice a couple of years back. In terms of dentistry I've never felt better taken care of. Not only is all the technology to the latest standard which makes treatments like crowns a lot quicker, but also the human side is incredible careful and supportive, putting nervous patients like me at ease. The admin staff is also incredible friendly and efficient and I've never had any problems with my appointments or billing. On the one or two cases where there have been delays I've been notified ahead of time and were able to adjust my schedule

Dr. Ma goes above and beyond in her care and professionalism. I am not an easy dental patient. I know I am in extremely knowledgable hands with Dr. Ma. Having surveyed many local dentists for me and my family over several years, I wholeheartedly rate Dr. Ma and her service team to be the best in the area. This office is a perfect example of personable care meeting medical professionalism and service.

Had a great experience at Prime Dental, as always! The people at the front are friendly and helpful. Kate, my hygienist, is very skilled and gentle. She's very friendly and patient and willing to help with any questions. Dr Patel is also super friendly and very good at what he does. He will check in with you while working on your teeth and ensures you are comfortable at all times. He will not suggest unnecessary procedures and determines what is best for you based on what he sees. I had to get many fillings and 2 crowns and he made it as pain free as possible. They are all very caring and take
