It was my grandfather who began it all. Returning home from two tours in the Pacific with the U.S Navy during WWII, he began a plumbing and heating business while also building several homes in lower Westchester County in the early 1950s. At that time, a partnership formed between grandpa and a dear friend of his that propelled Sunrise Installation's growth, leading to an opportunity to build gas stations and install fuel tanks and pumps in Westchester County for approximately 30 years steady with Mobil Oil.

We service all makes and models of heating and cooling equipment and if your system is in need of a part not in inventory, we'll order it for you and promptly return for installation.In addition, we maintain the systems of 250+ customers under Service Agreements ensuring their equipment is running reliably even in the most extreme heat waves and cold snaps.

Horrible experience. a/c unit had worked problem free for 20 years. Sunrise recommended replacing the unit and charged $10k. Once installed the unit created issues with the air handler flooded the drip pan, no cut off switch. Back many times and never resolved. Had to hire another contractor to get it right.

Be aware of OVERCHARGE ..... The technician came to my home to wire a humidifier and spent 2 hours on the phone. After he left the wiring was not done correctly so the unit kept running. When I called them, they sent him back to correct the issue. They charged me double the cost of the humidifier for something that should have taken an hour with a knowledgeable technician. No invoice was mailed even though they claimed That it was emailed. I will never use them again.

I recently had my AC go out this past weekend and was in big trouble with the current heat wave we're having. I left a message with the office over the weekend and sure enough they showed up 10am Monday morning and I was up and running within the hour. Tom the mechanic was terrific and I've never been disappointed with Sunrise. I recommend them to anyone in the Westchester area.

We had them come out to quote a new air conditioning installation. After telling me that he most likely wouldn't be able to get sufficient air flow to my downstairs, he came up with a creative solution to mix a high velocity system with ductless. He was at our home for over 1.5 hours and said he would follow-up with a proposal for 2 different ways.
It's now been close to 2 weeks and nothing. Not even a note saying he's working on it, or even telling me he doesn't want the business.

Waste of my time.

We had them come out in 2016 to fix our A/C unit. The guy was here less than 45 minutes and we received a bill for $583! $412.50 for labor, $48 for a dye cartridge and $75 for freon with a note stating a return visit would be necessary to look for the leak. They NEVER came back to check for the leak! The first hot day comes in 2017 and the unit doesn't work again, so we called Sunrise to come back out and they NEVER called back. It's been 4 days with no return call. POOR Customer Service!!
