Showers are provided but we ask members only to use them as a washing off station, this will allow staff to focus on cleaning other more frequently used areas of the club during cleaning periods. Please use the gym facilities as efficiently as possible to allow the maximum amount of members to use the facilities.

Join Sheridan Swim Club today! Your membership covers 12 months of swimming in our 5 pools (1 of which is indoors), exercising in our weight room or fitness studio, the hot indoor sauna and multiple BBQ grills with propane provided. We have a corporate sponsorship list that offers 10% off Membership Fees to employees of select businesses in the Quincy area also!
Sheridan's facilities are considered some of the best in the state of Illinois for outdoor and indoor swimming. Sheridan offers year-round activities to meet any family member's needs. Fitness room with Matrix brand equipment. Spin bikes, row machine, 4 elliptical machines, 3 treadmills, weight machines, free weights and more.
B. At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors, at least thirty days preceding the Annual election, the President shall appoint a Nominating Committee of three to nominate members for election of the Board of Directors. This Committee shall consist of three members of the Board of Directors whose terms of office do not expire at the immediate election.
The name of the corporation shall be "Sheridan Swim Club, Inc.", hereinafter referred to as the "CLUB, " incorporated under the statutes of the State of Illinois relating to corporations "not for pecuniary profit." The purpose for which this corporation is formed is to conduct a swim club to provide exercise, recreation and social enjoyment for its members, and for the promotion of swimming and other sports.
The following Rules and Regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members and their guests. These rules have been established to insure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities. Parents are requested to caution their children to observe and obey all rules and instructions of the club manager and Sheridan staff.

This was one of the best places we've had a Birthday Party at! The staff was super accommodating. The weather was perfect but even if it wouldn't have been we could have moved the party inside to their indoor facility. Super affordable even though we were not members. We got to use a shelter house with picnic tables and BBQ grills. I will definitely consider this again for next year. They allow you to have a bunch of guests also. I could go on & on about how great our experience was. They allow you to bring in your own food and drink so your not stuck eating the generic food some places provide

Very pleased with this facility. Staff are so accommodating. Saw them even wiping down the handles that lead into the pool. Constantly see them wiping down doors and cleaning. Members are very welcoming which says a lot overall. Our family has already made some good friends. Seems that everyone watches everyone’s kids and care like a little community. Totally worth paying a little extra.

I enjoy very much using the facilities at Sheridan pool. The workout room it has a nice variety of weights and machines to get a good workout. The pool is very well taken care of. It’s especially enjoyable to use in the winter. In the summertime it’s great to see friends and children playing in the outdoor pool.The staff is courteous and friendly. I make time at the pool just part of my life! I am very grateful that Quincy has such a nice facility.

Nice lil private club. The upside is the weight room remodel and the convenient hours of the pool for lap swimming.
The downside is the locker rooms. Very dated and literally leaking roofs when it rains. I know or family pays good money year for the membership. I just wish we didn’t have to dodge 5 gallon budgets when we walk around.
If the facility would update the locker room and fix the leaking roof this pace would be five stars.
