Today this specialized look can be obtained through a variety of modern materials including concrete and steel.
Real wood shake shingles have been used on homes for a very long time but they do not hold up as well as modern roofing products, are easily destroyed by hailstones, and pose a fire hazard. Thus, real wood shakes have declined in popularity over the past several decades, and today, many insurance companies will not insure buildings with real wood shake roofing.
Architectural Asphalt Shingles or Traditional 3-Tab Shingles are on the vast majority of homes in America. The terms Asphalt, Architectural Asphalt, Asphalt Composite, and Asphalt Composition all refer to the same type of product. However, 3-Tab Shingles refer to an older looking style of asphalt shingles that is not as durable or aesthetically pleasing as newer styles and materials.

Roofing Force was a pleasure to work with, and Ryan Knudtson was especially helpful throughout the process of our roof and gutter replacement. We sustained storm damage to both, and Ryan was instrumental in helping make sure our insurance company received all of the necessary information to process and approve our claim. I am very satisfied with the work performed by this company. It was accomplished in a short time with no delays. The new roof is beautiful. The sales representative, Mr. Ryan Whitlock, responded quickly to all my questions and, when needed, called in expert assistance from the VP of Sales, Mr. George Davis. It was a pleasure getting to meet and work with Anthony Dominguez and Rick Davis from Roofing Force on our roof replacement. They were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in guiding me on the right selection for our new roof. Even though there was a slight hiccup during the installation I could not have been happier with the way Roofing Force responded to the problem and then resolved the issue in a very timely manner. That is how I judge a great company! We are 100% satisfied with our new roof and cannot recommend Roofing Force high enough!

Wanted to give a very positive review to Roofing Force, called to have them look at my roof after a bad storm/wind and hail, I thought I had some major damage, they came out late, met me climbed up on roof.. said roof was not that bad, told me what I could do to repair myself, put no pressure on my to use them. I would highly recommend them if you need any roof repair, I will for sure if I have any future roof problems.

Roofing Force was great, top tier quality service. Anthony, my contract preparer, was awesome. As a Realtor, I refer Anthony to to inspect and bid on roof repair jobs for potential buyers.
My only issue with my job is that, more than a month after the job, I am still picking up nails around my property and in my yard. With a dog running around, this is a major concern for me.
Again, my roof looks great. The service was great... I just didn't expect to be picking up nails months later.

Carlos was great to work with . After being treated very bad by another company I was lucky to find him ! He sent his coworker ( Mariso?) out who took pictures & updated Carlos . Carlos then came to our house . He was very competent & so friendly & seem to genuinely care. The work was done in a timely manner too ! Shocker! Jamie was friendly & nice to work with too . Definitely will be calling these guys for our roofing needs .
