Pfefferkorn Engineering & Environmental is a woman-owned small business providing engineering and environmental services. PE2 was established in 2015 by siblings Kate and Gabe Pfefferkorn. The owners' great grandfather Bill A. Pfeffekorn started Pfefferkorn Lumber. The lumber yard was eventually run by Bill's children, including Paul Pfefferkorn.
Paul's son Bill J. Pfefferkorn obtained a degree in civil engineering and eventually founded Chaffee Building Company as a contractor. Throughout the 1970's and 1980's Bill, his wife Mary Jo and their team designed and constructed commercial and residential properties. The drive to build and improve lives through infrastructure was carried on to their children.

Kate Pfefferkorn-Mansker, PE, ENV SP is an Engineer with a background in design, construction and industrial operations. Mrs. Pfefferkorn-Mansker is the Owner and serves as Director of the Site Planning and Water Resources. She oversees construction activity, infrastructure development and assessment, and industrial operations inspections.
