I am so sad to state Dr Taylor has passed away and Clinch Mountain Vet is closed. I will miss her, her devotion to animals, and the gentle care she showed when she treated all my animals.
I moved from upstate New York to richlands Virginia. I needed to find a vet for my dog. I found Clinch Mountain Veterinary on the internet. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr Taylor and the staff at this office. My 10 year old dog was seen by Dr Taylor who was kind and caring. I had a 5 weeks old kitten I found with a sever left eye infection. Dr Taylor had to remove the eye and being only 5 weeks old

My boyfriend took our baby in to this clinic to be spayed. Something happened during the surgery, I am speculating that it had to do with intubation. She kept getting sicker and weaker. Throwing up blood and passing bloody stool. Took her back in and xrays were sent to VA to be read by a radiologist. It was found that she had a collapsed lobe in each lung. And was told that nothing could be done. A surgery as simple as spaying should not cost a baby their life. Yes, she passed away this afternoon. 3 months ago she was vibrant and healthy and today she is being prepared for burial.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
A great place to take your animals. She is upfront and honest, which is extremely important to me. The wait times can be long, but worth it if you are looking for honesty and a knowledgeable vet.

Dr. Taylor is an excellent veterinarian. She has saved many cats and kittens I have taken there. She is the best in the area. The office staff are always polite. However, the waiting time runs long.
