The meaning of Academia is to focus on the pursuit of education. The mission of Academia Preschool is to nourish every child's strengths so each child is able to form healthy relationships, discover meaningful work, and make unique contributions to the world. Our program operates on a philosophy of providing structured, quality care and developmentally appropriate experiences so that every child may grow to his/her fullest potential.
Through this practice, children learn limits of safety, the rules of social interaction, and their responsibility to each other. All of our staff, along with the families that we care for consider each other another type of 'family' as well. Our relationships are built upon mutual respect and appreciation of one another.

Services
One of the most important gifts the children in our care will receive is the love of learning. We believe the best way to do this, is by providing time and opportunity to let children explore, discover, and experiment through learner/teacher directed experiences. We believe in respecting children and teaching respect of others in return.
The classroom provides a warm, nurturing environment where each toddler is special and is encouraged to explore and develop new skills at his/her own pace. Equipment and toys are safe and age appropriate. The room arrangements satisfy individual needs by allowing space for eating, sleeping, and playing.
