Leslie joined our practice in 2016. She is originally from Roanoke Rapids, NC where she received her associate degree in dental hygiene. She brings character to the practice and enjoys educating patients. Kensley has been with us since 2018. She grew up in Greenville, NC and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill.

Services
Edward Bailey grew up 90 minutes south of the Triangle in Fayetteville, NC. He graduated from North Carolina State University (NCSU) with a degree in chemical engineering in 1994. While working as an engineer full-time, he completed a master's degree in business management at night, also at NCSU. He then returned to dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
Dr. Bailey and both hygienists use optical magnification in order to see all oral structures better. The advantage of magnification cannot be overstated. Clinicians can only treat what they can see - either visually or radio graphically. The ability to see small problems: decay, tooth fractures, failing old restorations, and calculus allows earlier and more conservative treatment.
As a service to our patients we will file insurance claims for you. During your first visit, you insurance coverage will be verified. Once you coverage has be verified, we ask that you pay any portion not covered by your insurance at the time of treatment. If your insurance coverage cannot be verified, we ask that you pay at the time services are rendered.

If you have insurance, go somewhere else because you will end up paying additional even though your insurance SHOULD cover the visit. I have never had to pay out-of-pocket for a biannual cleaning, until I visited this office. I asked when I called to setup my appointment, and I asked when I was in the waiting room if my insurance was taken and be covered 100%. They assured me yes it would be. They even charged me for services I did not even have done. When I told the Sheena at the front desk I did not have Xrays done, she said "Yes you did." I think I know what I had done at my appointment

Jessica is the the person I see the most, she's absolutely great! Dr. Bailey has been fantastic as well, thankfully I've had only a single serious issue that he fixed very quickly! The staff here really do make your visit easy, I rarely wait much. Now with digital xrays, the images are crystal clear, a nice improvement.

I have had nothing but great respect for Dr Bailey and his staff. I have been a patient for nine years. He listens to my concerns, has a great team of hygienists and assisted when I needed other dental work. Courtney was very helpful in getting me appt with UNC Dental School, and they worked with me on my insurance to have the work be within my budget. His office made a night guard for me that has lasted for years, and even provided the mold if I ever need to get a replacement. I have moved a few states away but still travel to visit his office.

It is clear that this facility is a business. They are not cheap. The costs have creep-ed up and up through the years. And since they are not a Metlife preferred provider they are free to inch up the charges as they wish. When asking about their non-preferred status they will politely skirt around the issue. Courtney is condescending and curt. We left them a year ago and are glad we did. There are plenty of preferred providers out there just as qualified, just as kind. My wife and daughter are much happier right down the street. Beware.

I have been going to Dr. Bailey's for over 5 years and definitely recommend scheduling an appointment if you are in need of dental care.
My routine cleaning appointments are less than an hour and always on time. They have given me a few suggestions for improving my cleaning at home but never push additional procedures on me. I recently needed to have an old filling repaired - it had been over 10 years since I had a major dental procedure done - Dr. Bailey and his team let me know what to expect with numbness and the procedure and I had no pain afterwards.

My family has gone to Dr Bailey for years and I have always been very happy. Have recommended him numerous times to people. Just do not ever be late with a payment. If you try for another appointment they recommend that you do not come back. What a thanks for being a loyal patient for many years! I will thankfully take their recommendation and move on to a new practice.
