My interest in the arts was destined from a young age with a mom that doubled as an artist. After years of focusing on painting, my interest took a strong turn for photography. I bought my first DSLR camera in middle school and started AJP in high school, and haven't looked back. Since then, I have been blessed to professionally photograph hundreds of portraits, weddings, engagements, editorials, and events combined.
Our number one goal is to create timeless and authentic images that tell the story of your day. We believe that the wedding experience extends beyond the wedding day, beginning at our first emails to final album delivery. We'll take care of you every step of the way, from helping you choose engagement shoot locations and outfits, to guiding you through natural poses, to sending you a planning guide, to even drafting your photography timeline.

I had the most incredible experience with Angelika.
Had to find a photographer for my baby shower last minute, reached out to hundreds of photographers and she was the only one that took the time and found someone for me.
Also had my maternity shots with her recently and they’re the most beautiful pictures I’ve seen.
She is extremely sweet and just wonderful to work with.
She pays attention to all details making sure your pictures turn out flawless.

Angelika is absolutely incredible at what she does. Her artistry and range of style from soft and romantic to bold and striking were what drew us to her portfolio and she did such a great job working with us to get the types of photos we'd been dreaming of! Working with her was quite seriously one of THE MOST FUN parts of the entire wedding planning process! Angelika is THE BEST wedding photographer you'll find. Her photos are gorgeous and they really do show the relationship you and your partner have with each other. She does a great job at capturing the tiniest details and is so flexible and adaptable to what your vision is. She's also very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Highly, highly recommend! Angelika is the absolute best! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I had to postpone our big wedding, but still wanted to get married on our original wedding date. I am so glad we did because it led us to finding Angelika and we absolutely LOVED working with her!! Not only is Angelika an amazing and wonderful photographer, but she is such a lovely and caring person. Having never had professional photos taken and being someone that is extremely camera-phobic, I knew I wanted to have engagement photos to look back on and cherish but was dreading the experience. Angelika was lovely and hands-on through the entire process. She really took her time to get to know us as a couple and even helped us choose our outfits so that we felt fully prepared walking into the shoot. She prepared far in advance to make sure the day went smoothly and when on set she encouraged me and pushed me to get the best shots. She knew how to connect with me to make me comfortable. Angelika did a wonderful job capturing our wedding! We hired her for a big church wedding, but due to COVID-19 we had to entirely change our plans and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the process. She made us feel at ease throughout the day—it felt like she was just an extra friend there to cheer us on. The pictures were more than we could have asked for, and she even delivered a gallery of beautifully edited "sneak peaks" the DAY after our wedding. Just incredible!

Angelika is amazing, she delivers quality content and is a pleasure to work with. When she delivered my gallery, I was speechless. We did the photoshoot at the Lincoln Memorial and at the U.S. Capitol. I had something pop last minute on me and arrived late to the shoot, Angelika was understanding and she worked fast. The sun set by the time we arrived to the second location but that wasn't a worry for Angelika. Her editing skills are exceptional and you can't even tell my photos were taken at 8:30PM. If you doubt booking her, I'm here to tell you that there isn't anyone better in the DMV area.
