Dr. John Gustafson grew up in Mendota Heights, MN. He attended Concordia College; Moorhead for his undergraduate education and graduated with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Gustafson attended Dental School at the University of Minnesota. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Gustafson started a practice in Arlington, MN in 1980.
Dr. Jared Gustafson grew up in Arlington, MN and graduated from Sibley East High School in 2001. He attended Concordia College, Moorhead for his undergraduate education and graduated with degrees in Biology and Chemistry in 2005. After spending time in Africa teaching, Dr. Gustafson attended dental school and received his Doct0r of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 2011.

Dental implants are a permanent and appealing solution to replace missing or extracted teeth. They are better than other alternatives like bridges because no additional teeth need to be altered to place the new tooth. The entire implant process is performed over the course of a few months. The first part of the process is to install the implant itself, where a screw is placed into the jaw bone.

Today took an unexpected turn as I had to come in for a cracked tooth! They set up an appointment immediately and they stopped the pain soon after it had started! I walked out feeling way better and I can’t wait to go back to permanently fix this tooth! Big thanks to the Gustafson Family for staying a bit later for me!

I've been going to Gustafson Family Dentistry for as long as I can remember & have nothing but great things to report. I just recently chipped a good amount of my front tooth off and when I called the office on Monday morning, I was able to get in & get it fixed that day. Dr. Jared did an AMAZING job of not only calming my nerves, but also filling my tooth and making it look great. You would never know I even chipped my tooth!
