Allen Funeral Home and my primary contact at the funeral home, Josh Allen, did a top notch job with my father's recent funeral. They took care of the coordination with the Bloomsburg Press Enterprise on the obituary submission, coordination with another funeral home located out of the area (which took care of the embalming, death certificates, life insurance, etc.) on a second viewing, contacting the local Catholic church to secure a priest's services for the memorial service, and working with the cemetery regarding burial information. There are things in life that are just plain unfortunate and not fun. Death is one of them. When it happens, you are never prepared for it, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
At the Allen Funeral Home, Roger, Joshua and Maurice will make you feel just that, at Home. These 3 gentlemen have a heart for not only your loved one, but for you as family and friends of the one who has passed on.
There are many Funeral Homes out there along with many Funeral Directors. I find it very hard to have other Funeral businesses of the same magnitude as the Allen Funeral Home.
